Yesterday after church we went down to Vivo for lunch.
Mainly because we were going to my mom's place for dinner after.
(Which is pretty close by.)
Walked around awhile.
And I
FINALLY decided to get the MAC fluidline eyeliner gel that I have being eyeing on for the longest time already.
Cute little pot!
Been hesitating so long because it's abit pricey.
But I was told and have read reviews that it is pretty awesome!
=)
(BTW the brush is MORE expensive then the pot.)
Had to get the brush because I don't have one.
Expensive little brush.
Have not exactly tried it out properly yet,
but the texture is totally different from the Maybelline one.
MAC's is really creamy & soft!
And glides on really easily.
Drew a line on my hand and washed my hands and it was still there!
I know I didn't regret buying it.
=)
Also bought a lipstick from their limited edition.
Really fell in love with the colour.
And coincidentally,
guess what is the name of the lipstick?
Angel.
=D
Mango is having sale.
Bought some clothes there too.
So very happy with my buys!
Haven't gone shopping like this in a looooooooong time.

So I decided it was time to bring the girls to see a paediatrician today.
Angel's been sick for almost a week now.
No progress except that she has no more fever.
PLUS.
Sera vomited last night.
And at least another 4 times after we returned home after the visit to the clinic till now.
=(
Private Children's Clinic
@ KKH.
Wanted to bring the girls to SGH where they usually see the same Professor.
But the doctor wasn't on today and there were no other paediatricians in.
So decided to bring them to KKH's Private Children's Clinic for the first time.
It's quite a nice place!
Just beside The Private Suite.
They have a nice play area tucked at a corner.
Which was good!
Because it kept the girls busy.
Matchy rainbow jackets!
They were also wearing same Hello Kitty T-shirts & Hush Puppies tights in different colours.
And same shoes too!
=)
There's also a number screen there.
So you wouldn't miss your number being called.
I LIKE!
And also a TV showing Cartoon Network!!
Awesomeness!
Pink Panther was on at that very moment.
The girls super engrossed watching TV.
As you can see the clinic was empty
by the time it was our turn.
Actually come to think of it,
it was not very crowded at all.
We waited quite long for our turn though.
(Mainly because appointments usually have priorities, ours was considered walk-in.)
And the doctor was taking pretty long with each patient!
But actually,
I realised the doctor was pretty thorough with her explanation on EVERYTHING & patiently answered all my questions as well!
The girls fell asleep on the way home.
Quite like the clinic.
It was clean and neat, the staff and doctor was professional and super nice & friendly!
But the walk-in rate was $100.
(Not inclusive of GST and medications yet.)
Lucky I could use the girls civil servant card and some cost will be absorbed and then deducted off hubby's salary.
If after the cost absorbed and it's cheaper then SGH,
then I will continue bringing the girls there from now on.
Medication for both the poor things.
Lucky I decided to bring the girls to see a doctor today.
Because the doctor said that Angel's case was more serious.
And that she has phlegm in her lungs and would soon develop to bronchitis and infection.

A couple of the girls' multi-vitamins and fish oil.
The girls just recently finished their Vitamin C.
So hubby went to get new ones for them.
Told him I wanted to try Kordel's Vitamin C.
Instead,
he came home with 2 bottles.

Anyway, Sera didn't attend school today because she's also sick now.
Hope the vitamin C will help boost their immunity!
Echinacea is next on the list to get.

Blogger changed their layout.
Honestly...
I LOVE IT!!
Now I can type in a bigger box and pictures can be made
EXTRA LARGE!
And also I can upload multiple photos, unlike previously only 5 at a time.
They should have changed it a long time ago!!
=)
ANYWAY.
Since Sera have been going to school, she has learnt to speak more in mandarin.
(Basically, we are not a very chinese speaking family.)
I also have been teaching Sera using chinese flash cards!
Of course,
we must not forget about English and Numbers as well!
I teach her
ABCs using flash cards and worksheets.
Really like this Lady bird series flash cards!
Sera basically knows her
ABCs already.
So I've been teaching her to write them in workbooks!
Sesame Street!
Bought these ones online.
ONE DOLLAR EACH!
So worth.
=)
Comes in many cartoon characters like Strawberry Shortcake, Hello Kitty, Thomas the Train, Mickey Mouse, etc etc etc.
But I got the Pooh bear one!
=D
My mil also bought educational puzzles for her to play.
I really like them alot too!!
And here are some photos of Sera using her workbooks!
She still isn't very good at writing her numbers and alphabets.
Doing her numbers.
Small letters.
Capital letters.
Colouring.
Teaching Sera at times can be soooooo frustrating.
Cos she gets tired, bored, fidgety, etc etc etc.
So I'll bribe her with
LOTS of stickers and encouragement.
Seems to work.
(Most of the time.)

Angel is still pretty sick.
She vomited this morning.
At least her fever has subsided!

This week, Angel suddenly started saying lots of words!
REALLY HAPPY!!=)
Initially I was quite worried about her language & speech.
(I know I shouldn't compare..)But at 18 months,
Sera could talk quite abit already & she could already call me mummy.
I was reading milestones online and also asked Angel's pediatrician for advise during her 18 month check-up.
Her PD said at this age, she was suppose to say about 10 words or more.
STRESS!!She couldn't even say a single word at that time.
Flash cards.
So every once in awhile,
I will go through flash cards with Angel and repeat the words to her.
Now she can say a words like,
"Bear."
"Bay-beeee."
"Shoe."
"Chair."
"Ow-wer."
And
ALOT more words now!
=D
Usually when we go out, I like to point out things to her & tell her what it is.
When I am teaching Sera her alphabets & numbers,
I will also tell Angel what it is.
And at times she'll repeat it back to me!
SURPRISED!=)
Don't underestimate kids, they actually absorb things very quickly!
Once in awhile I will also read stories to both the girls.
I guess that will help too right?
She also recently started saying "Tar"
(star) and likes to put her fingers in a diamond shape when she says that.
CUTE MUCH!!! ♥

And she also started calling me "Mi-mi"
(mummy)I am really so proud of her.
My Angel is growing up to be a big girl already!
