Day 1.

Woke up early and got the girls & I ready by 9am.

Dressed them up in red qipaos and let them carry little pink handbags for oranges.

CUTE MUCH!!

Hubby & I also wore red.

Family colour!!

Had tea ceremony at home.

Took LOADS of photos in the garden.

Our best family shot out of the many.

off we went for visiting!

We visited quite a number of places this year.

But I think it was ALOT lesser then the past few years when I went visiting with my in laws already..

Very thankful we had 2 cars to drive up & down.

It made traveling easier too.

And also the weather towards the afternoon was very cooling, as it started raining!

Yesterday was Sera's first CNY celebration in school!

Parents were supposed to bring goodies to contribute to the celebration.

Home made butter cookies!

They look as good as they taste.

(In defense, I did really want to do so!)

But end up my mil & hubby did them.

After lunch headed to the cab stand as it was pouring like cats, dogs, monkeys & donkeys.

Yanwen was super sweet & waited in crazy LONG queue with me till we were almost to the front.

Angel was being very difficult & stubborn as well as SUPER cranky at that time due to her passed nap time.

Thankfully Sera was behaving herself.

I had an awesome day out still!

For the first time in the past THIRTEEN days,

she waved good bye to me and happily walked into class.

Sera didn't cry & cling on to me when I dropped her off in school today.

Very happy!

Can see her teachers were too!

=)

Went to lunch after dropping her in school & went to do some CNY shopping.

And saw the cutest dress EVER!!

Tutu dress!

Grandma bought one for each of the girls.

=)

I was so excited I immediately tried it on for Angel when I reached home.

(Angel looks stony cos she's actually watching TV)

A little big for Angel now.

But at least the dress can last for a while!

OKAY.

Yesterday I went to get my nails done for CNY.

The only slot available on a Tuesday afternoon as it was fully booked.

My revived thumb nail!

My thumb nail actually tore into half & bled a few days before my appointment.

Sobs!!

Thank goodness for nail extensions!

French pedicure.

Stuck to more natural colours as CNY is next week.

If not I would have chosen a solid colour like RED.

HUAT!

(And also cos my CNY dress is red this year!)

But if it chips before CNY, it would look really awful.

AMK Hub Explorer Kids

Explorer Kid @ AMK Hub.

Hubby & I love to bring our girls to Explorer Kid.

But not very often.

As it was located at E! Hub (Downtown East) which is very far for us, unless we were driving down.

So to my delight, we found out AMK Hub opened an outlet!

Which is SUPER convenient for us.

HAPPY!

=)

Brought Sera to the one at AMK Hub last Decemeber.

It's quite small compared to the one at E! Hub.

But I already kinda expected it.

We like this area very much!

Because you get to shoot people trapped downstairs with a huge gun!

We were there about half an hour early.

Because the first 40 families get a pass to take pictures with the Care Bears after the show.

Was hoping to get a pass too.

SAD TO SAY.

When we reached the atrium, the front stage was already filled with a sea of families.

at least we got to sit quite close to the front stage.

End of the show.

Managed to sneak some close shots of the Care Bears while we were walking out.

She would have been very happy and excited!!

hubby & I brought the girls to catch Hi 5 at Millenia Walk.

(Cos Sera & Angel are very addicted to Hi 5 shows airing on Okto channel every weekday.)

And also Dora the Explorer!

Would have gone to catch more shows.

But we didn't have time to travel the whole of Singapore.

Fascinated by fountains.

Sera's 9th day in school.

Let Sera play with dough before leaving for school last Friday.

She was insistent on helping with making New Year Cookies.

So I had time to slack at home with Angel.

Day 9 was fairly better.

She didn't cry when grandma left her in school.

And according to the teachers she didn't cry as much as she used to.

Sera's 10th day in school.

Sent the little girl to school myself today.

Praying and hoping she wouldn't cry when I left her there since day 9 was a improvement.

Bus rides fascinates Sera.

However.

Sera cried when I left her in class today.

Sat outside awhile and eventually heard her screams and cries dissolve.

Peeped at her and saw her happily playing with toys.

=)

I was early to pick her up today.

So I peeped at her and saw she was happily playing at the outdoor playground.

Peeped at her again & this time...

Saw the vain pot looking at the mirror "tidying" up her hair before proceeding to resume back to playing with the toys.

MY GOODNESS!

My Sera is so vain!

Today I rewarded her with her favorite fries!

Her teacher said Sera did well today.

She didn't cry after that one time when I left.

I AM SO PROUD OF HER!!

Hopefully she would be able to maintain it this way.

All sweaty from the fun she was having in school.

Velle fell sick last night and didn't attend school today.

Sera kept asking me where Velle was.

After showering Sera after dinner she suddenly asked me again:

"Where's Belle?" (She can't pronounce Velle)

Then with a serious face proceeded to ask,

"Is it run away??"

I LAUGHED & LAUGHED!!!

My guess was that she meant to ask if Velle ran away from school that's why she didn't turn up today.

HAHAHA!!

Sera's 7th day in school.

Everytime we are at the bus interchange at Nex,

she always gets very mesmerized by the lights on the floors from one of the shops.

Sera's 8th day in school.

We were very early today!

So much so that the first session has not even ended school yet.

Still on 4oz of Enfapro.
Has eaten just about everything.
Knows where her nose, eyes, mouth, ears & head is.
Knows how to put her dirty clothes in the basket after taking them out.
Knows to throw rubbish in the dustbin.
Knows how to put the potty seat on the toilet bowl when I say time to go toilet.
Understands what we are saying to her most of the time.
Likes to shake her head very often now to say "no"

Day 6 in school.

In the bus,

Today's weather was crazy.

Kept raining on & off.

Suddenly saw Sera and her teacher walking out of class.

Sera was crying.

Her teacher patiently held her hand and walked with her where ever she pointed to.

I suppose she was looking for me.

But she couldn't see me, as where I was sitting was quite dark.

THANK GOODNESS!

Guess her teacher was really nice and patient with her.

Saw her talking to Sera (probably persuading her I had already left) before bringing her back to class.

Day 5 in school for my big girl Seraphina.

Tied her hair in pleats today.

Left her in class.

And told her I was going home to look after meimei.

Sera was fine as usual when I left.

But at the end of the day when I came to pick her up...

She was crying.

Her principal told me she kept crying on and off today.

*sighs*

Nothing new.

Much happier on the way home.

The rain was crazy.

Rained heavily twice while I was out today.

And each shower lasted about 5 minutes only.

Walking home.

Thankfully the rain stopped.

If not we would have a difficult time getting home.

Hubby, mummy & I went to Takashimaya last Saturday.

Taka was having storewide 20% off on most items.

Sera's day 4 in school today.

PE attire day!!

Everytime I ask her to do a twist,
she always gives me this.

Decided to tie her hair up in pigtails today!

Left Sera in class sitting beside Velle playing toys.

Did not want to linger and prolong her anxiety.

So I left almost immediately.

Didn't peep at her till indoor gym class.

Not suppose to be peeping..

Okay, yeah.

So I said I wouldn't peep today.

But I was really curious what indoor gym was and what they did during that class.

Sera looked pretty happy during indoor gym class.

I was happy that she was happy.

However, after school when she saw me at the waiting area, waiting to pick her up......

Sera immediately burst into tears.

AGAIN.

Her teacher told me that she cried a few times today in class.

Hopefully by next week she'll stop.

As classes will resume back to it's original duration.

(For the first week of school, classes are only 2 hours so the children can settle & adapt.)

I love watching my girls grow up & being a part of their lives.

These are the moments.

I want to watch them grow.

Because time can never be rewind.

And if I can, I want to jot down every everything.

Sera's third day in school.

Picture taken before she went to class.

I love how she wears her little school uniform dress.

Looks super sweet.

And super girly!

=)

Pity that she only gets to wear it twice a week.

Looking at the picture, suddenly hit me that my little baby Sera has grown up so much now!

In class.

Today I bribed Sera with her favorite gummy bears.

Told her I would give her gummy bears after school if she didn't cry.

Sera playing with her classmate waiting for class to start.

Perfectly fine.

No tears.

She even waved & said "bye" to me before I left.

Yanwen & I went to hide and peeped at the girls a few times.

Peeping at the girls from the next class.

As you can see the teacher (in orange) in the midst of waving her hands at us.

Discouraging us from peeping at the girls.

So we waited outside and desperately tried to peep at them with other ways and methods.

FAIL!!!!

Hahahahaha!

They covered the place pretty well.

So we gave up.

End of class.

The moment Sera saw me she showed me her sad face and burst to tears.

According to the teacher,

she cried a few times looking for me.

But when she is distracted playing toys, she would be okay.

Other then that she is a good girl.

=)

My heart also feels painful knowing she's this way in class.

But I must be hard-hearted!

Only this way she would be able to adapt in school.

Day 4 tomorrow.

Gonna just leave her in class and NOT peep at her at all.

Sera's second day of school.

Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays are PE attire day.

So she wore her PE attire today!

All cheery at home.

This time I went to hide while Sera was in class.

And peeped at Sera occasionally.

Was confident she would be fine.

Cos her first day of school went super well.

In class.

So after Outdoor playtime,

I went to class to peep at Sera and saw her back against me.

Her teacher was talking to her...

AND.

Wiping away her tears.

According to the teacher,

Sera was looking for me and cried cos she couldn't find me.

Outdoor playtime.

Peeped at her during lunch,

And today's menu was her favorite noodles!

She sat at the table looking very sad and didn't eat.

=(

So I went to her and she showed me her super sad face.

And after talking to her,

she finished up her bowl of noodles.

Playing blocks after lunch.

So I resumed back to hiding after she ate her lunch.

And she was fine playing blocks.

But during chinese class she was looking for me.

And cried again.

Decided to let her teachers handle her.

After all, I wouldn't be able to stay in class with her soon.

Could hear her wails from outside leh!

Poor girl.

Cried until end of school.

*sighs*

Thought day 2 would be better.

Hopefully she would do better tomorrow.

Today was Sera's first day of school!!

Looking super cute in her uniform!

Trying to actually do a twist here.

Gave up and gave me 'ten' instead.

Sera had 4 and a half body guards to accompany her on her first day of school.

(Half being her little sister.)

Waiting for yeye to come home to send her.

Her class.

Sera was in a pretty good mood.

UNTIL....

I opened the door to her classroom and loud screams, crying & wailing blasted into our faces.

Sera stopped for a moment and told me,

"Mummy! I beary scared!!"

And was quite reluctant to enter class.

Sera found a familiar face within the crowd.
=)

Sera & Velle.

After that, Sera pretty much settled down.

No tears.

And she was not clingy to me.

Extremely proud of her!

=)

Cubbies to put their bags.

After playing with the toys,

it was time to sit down and sing songs.

Sera got bored very soon and got very fidgety.

Her attention span is really very short!

They call this the Donut train.

Everyone in class has to hold on to a colored ring that is strung together.

Then they follow the teacher to where ever she leads them to.

Somehow the children are very fascinated with holding a colored ring.

After toilet time was outdoor play time!

Sera was very excited!!

And was the first to climb up the slide.

Although we do have a tricycle at home,

Sera doesn't know how to peddle and ride one properly yet.

Velle can peddle very well!

Sera's teacher teaching her to peddle.

End up she gave up.

And went to play ball instead.

Soon Velle came to join her.

And so did her other classmates!
=)

After awhile,

Velle asked Sera to play the see-saw with her.

As you can see,
my Sera is very big compared to tiny Velle.

So Sera mainly did the hard work.

While Velle sit there and enjoy.

After outdoor play time,

most of the kids more or less already settled down.

Thank goodness!!

It was lunch time!

Back to the Donut train to go back to class.

Saying grace before meal.

As you can see,
all the parents crowding around their children.

I on the other hand, left Sera to feed herself.

Wanted to see if she do so without me.

And also to promote independence.

Surprisingly, she didn't dirty herself at all.

Ate pretty fast.

And even had a 2nd bowl,

despite having a bowl of porridge before school!

She usually isn't like this at home.

Very happy after a satisfying lunch.

I am really very proud of Sera.

Although she did look for me a few times in school today,

I felt that she was quite independent.

Puts my mind at ease knowing she would be able to adapt.

and change to another bus from the interchange.

Sera is starting school tomorrow!!

Excited much!!

Feels as if I am the one going to school instead.

Finally got round to
preparing her things for school.

Bought iron on labels from Muakids as recommended by Jasmine.

Super chio!

Hopefully they last as long though...

Bought for both the girls as they were having 20% Christmas sale.

Instructions.

Hubby insisted he wanted to iron them on.

Always very excited by new things!

He did a pretty good job though.
I'm impressed!

Had to send Sera's school uniform to the tailor.

To get the school crest sewn on.

SERIOUSLY!

Of all places why must put on pocket???!

The tailor has to remove the whole pocket to sew the crest on!

$15 bucks fly away....

Everyday I would tell Sera she would be going to school soon.

To meet new friends & do loads of fun things!!

Trying my best to psych her up and get her as excited as I am!

=)

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Hopefully she would be able to adapt well.

Impromptu decision.

Actual plan was to have family breakfast at the famous Jalan Kayu Roti Prata!

So since it was nearby, we drove down to take a look after a yummy breakfast!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas this year.

BEFORE Christmas - Angel fell sick with fever, runny nose & cough.

ON Christmas day - I caught the bug and fell ill.

AFTER Christmas - Sera fell sick too.

=(

Been pretty exhausted looking after the girls as well as myself.

Till today Sera is still feverish & Angel is still coughing.

Hopefully they get a whole lot better tomorrow as we would be out celebrating the New Year!

ANYWAY.

Back to Christmas..

Wanted to take a nice photo and frame it to give my in laws as a present this year.

Photos were taken a week before Christmas.

However, it was tough taking pictures with 2 toddlers.

So very NOT cooperative.

Sera insisted on helping.
So she helped me to stick the bows & the cards.

Self folded little Christmas paper bags.

Spent the night of Christmas Eve wrapping the rest of the presents.

And sorting out Hershey Kisses.

Candy Cane.

Mint Truffle.

Very Christmas-y Hershey kisses.

I know!

Also wrote hubby a Christmas Love Note.

Rolled them into 2 tiny scrolls.
Tied with red ribbons.

Individually cut out the pieces of paper
to place inside the box.

(Stupidly, I just found out Daiso also sells it.)

Placed the scrolls AND his almost-extinct-so-very-hard-to-find present inside..

Finished it up with a giant gold bow.

Really like the box!

Another part of Hubby's present was to surprise him & go watch

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - Ghost Protocol.

On the 26th December 2011 at Plaza Singapura.

Just to two of us.

He is a HUGE Mission Impossible fan and was dying to watch it.

But I stupidly used his Golden Village Popcorn Card for discount.

And it automatically sent a confirmation email to his account.

Luckily I went to his email to delete it.

BUT.

I forgot the confirmation email will also be sent to his Blackberry.

He found out about it the moment I paid for the tickets online!

Oh wells.............

Christmas day @ Church.

Did not really take much pictures at church,

as I was really feeling very exhausted and tired with a fever.

Angel kept waking up the night before and crying non stop.

In addition I was having a very bad headache.

Had Christmas lunch at

TUNG LOK - VIVO!!

I LOVE!!!

(Haven't been there to dine in a while!)

Sadly I didn't have much appetite.

Didn't really get to enjoy.

=(

Spent the Christmas afternoon sleeping in.

Woke up and felt ALOT better!

After dinner,

we let the girls unwrap their Christmas presents.

The joy of watching them!!

It's the wee hours of the early morning.

Sera woke me up as she needed to potty.

And realized the big girl is down with fever and cough.

*sighs*

Been busy and VERY exhausted during the long weekend.

Angel was down with fever, runny nose and cough.

NOT easy to look after a little girl who keeps crying cos she can't tell you what she wants the entire night!!

And kept wanting to cling on to me and carry her ALL the time.

Of course the exhaustion took over.

And I was the next to fall sick on Christmas day itself.

Nevertheless.

Yesterday was dong zhi.

So asked hubby to drive down to our nearest supermart to get some tangyuan.

Bought the ready made ones as it was a last minute decision.

=)

It was yummy!!

I remember when I was pregnant with Sera,

I would very often craved for sesame tangyuan.

I still do though.

Occasionally.

Although I'm not pregnant anymore.

Hehe.

I love weddings.

It is always a wonderful, happy & joyous occasion.

And also a fun time to dress up!

But super love that in the picture you can see my lovely curls cascading down at the side.

The theme was 70's retro.

I only wore a simple black dress as I didn't have a retro dress.

Bought this lovely dress for Sera.

It was really cheap!

And I paid only $9.90 after deducting the rebate in my card.

=)

Unfortunately however, there was no smaller size for Angel.

They would have looked cute in the same dress together!

When Sera first saw the dress she went,

Hubby suspected the wine.

He always presumes I'm a lousy drinker.

IS NOT EASY!!

They get bored of sitting down.

Get fidgety.

Play with the silverware.

Grab whatever is on the table.

Whine or cry for attention cos they are bored.

And sometimes the food served are not for toddlers or it's not to their liking.

*headache*

Thankfully hubby was very patient with Angel.

Carried and entertained her most of the time so I can eat in peace.

And she fell asleep soon after.

Sera was a good girl and told us she wanted to lie down in the pram and drink her milk without any prompting.

=)

After which she fell asleep by herself.

Went to town in the evening with hubby ~~today~~.

Yesterday.

Soaking in the Christmas atmosphere.

Christmas is this weekend!!

Like OMGABCXYZ!!

Reality hits.

It's also coming to the end of the year.

Why is my life passing by in such a rush?

I wanna enjoy my moments with my family, friends, daughters and my hubby.

Life teaches you to cherish what you've got now.

Once it's gone, it's gone. Forever.

OKAY......................

Awkward emo stuff aside.

Had yummy German sausage
with potato for dinner.

They serve the awesome-est stuff!

Hubby couldn't eat with us cos he was meeting his friends at Somerset 313.

HAH!

(He super loves the German sausages too!)

Walked pass and found this stall selling ice cream.

Sera kept insisting she wanted strawberry ice cream.

Bought one.

Meant for hubby.

He was super sweet this evening.

Went home to fetch me & the girls after work.

Dropped us off at Taka.

Walked to Somerset 313.

Walked back after his dinner with his friends to go home together.

Then the stupid ass ate the ice cream and said he didn't like it.

REALLY LOR!

Talk about grateful!

At least pretend to like can anot???!

Sera ended up eating most of it.

At least not so wasted...

Has tried prawns!
(Thank goodness no allergies!)
Pretends to snore!
Blows her food when she thinks it's hot.
Imitates her sister.
Able to wear her own shoes by herself although still needs some help.
Knows how to tuck her socks in her shoes and put them aside.
In the baby room at church, she automatically takes off her shoes before entering.
Takes the stool to stand beside me when I am washing the milk bottles.
Knows how to slide to unlock my iPhone!
Likes to take books to "read"
Screams at the top of her voice when she is angry.
Claps her hands after she poops in the toilet bowl.
LOL!
Still loves to eat. =)

Hubby & I spent the entire Saturday last week spring cleaning.

He did the vacuuming.

And told me to watch TV with the girls because he knows my sinus can get very bad.

So very very sweet.

He probably did 80% of the cleaning.

I told him I was his supervisor.

Today after church we headed down to Ngee Ann City for lunch at Crystal Jade Palace.

Had a superb and VERY satisfying lunch.

After that hubby & I decided to do some Christmas shopping for the girls.

Super crowded!!

Saw these pillow case covers as well.

Find it super useful!!

$11.90 each.

It's towel material on the outside.

And waterproof material inside.

Don't have to worry when the girls vomit or dirty the pillows anymore.

Lazy to rotate the photos as I am blogging this from my iphone.

And my photos get really small as well...

Don't know why.

Took a cab home & caught a glimpse of the hunks that everyone has been raving about outside A&F.

Hubby drove Sera & I down to her new school for
Parent Orientation at 10.30am.

Was quite looking forward to it.

As it was the first time attending such functions!

Hubby & Sera.

Reality is finally setting in.

My little girl IS finally going to start school next year!

Was a little early.

So decided to get her school uniform first.

I think Sera looks really CUTE in the uniform!

After that was the orientation briefing with the principal.

And off to meet her new class teachers.

It was raining cat, dogs, monkeys, zebras & hippopotamus!

The weather has been crazy!

(2 left & 2 right beside the middle 4 teeth)

(1 left & 1 right - leaving a tooth gap beside her middle 4 teeth)

Her new word is "Bye" but prononces like "Buaa"
Her new word is "Throw" but pronounces "Keeerr"

(She will say it everytime she throws something e.g, ball.)
Able to understand simple instructions and sentences.

(E.g, "Squat please!" , " No, don't touch!" , "Can you throw this in the dustbin please?")
Is afraid when I ask her "Where is the cane?" and stops what she is doing.
Knows how to wag her index finger and go "Orrhhhh....!"
Twist her palms upward to show "don't know"
Tries to wear her socks & shoes.
Stacks cups.
Knows how to take the stool and stand on it.
Knows how to take tissue / cloth to "wipe" her mouth.
Insistent on feeding herself at times.
When we say "Clever girl!" she will happily clap her hands.
Able to climb up & down the stairs herself.
Started on the fundamentals of potty training.

(Big business on toilet bowl - sometimes.)

I actually just ate it as it was.

After much deliberation over the week...

I FINALLY decided it was time for Sera to go diaper-less when we go out.

(At home she's usually diaper-less.)

Now she can tell me whenever she needs to go toilet which is,

"Big one! Big one!"

Lol!! I don't know why.

So today, decided to do a trail run.

Sera went out to church and grandma's place diaper-less!!

Am very proud of my girl!!

Not a single leak!

Once upon a time..

This was my Baby Seraphina.

I feel she has grown up so much.

She talks in sentences now.

Telling me things and asking me all sorts of questions.

And at times she can be really thoughtful as well.

=)

Like when she sees a cut on my hand she'll ask me:

"Mummy, izit painful?"

And if I replied with a yes,

she would kiss my wounded hand and then say:

"Mummy, get cream for you okay?"

And off she goes to get the cream for me.

The feelings are a mix of bittersweet.

Bitter - That I miss their baby times.
Sweet - That my little babies is growing up to be big girls!

And I'm glad that God allowed me to enjoy Motherhood a little earlier.

=)

FINALLY.

It is Sera's turn to go to school.

Got the letter from Sera's new school to come down for Parent Orientation in about 2 weeks time.

AND.

Also a long list of what needed to make payment.

School fees, uniform, activity worksheets, etc.

Expensive.

(In my opinion)

But other mummys were telling me considered quite cheap and reasonable for private school already.

School will commence on 03/01/2012

And she has been placed in class Shalom 2

She's going for 2nd session.

Which is in the late morning.

So at least in the morning no need to rush to school.

=)

3 hours session of class only.

Anyway, just a random fact.

Shalom in Hebrew understood around the world meaning "Peace"

But.

It also means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.

Heard of the horror stories of how the queue was so long it reached outside Somerset 313 when it initially first opened!

There wasn't a queue when we reached.

But it sure was crowded on a friday EARLY afternoon!

REALLY TURNED OFF.

Skipped the first 2 levels.

The Kids Department was thankfully ALOT less crowded.

But decided not to overspend.

After paying for our loots we headed home.

Remember my Deepavali post?

Well.....

Sera was playing with the sticker earrings and pasting them all over herself.

Unknowingly, it somehow landed on her forehead.

Made me laugh out loud!

See the red dot on her forehead??

She didn't even realize it was there!

And I let it stay there until it dropped off by itself.

(Which was pretty much after her 3 hour nap. Haha!!)

And she couldn't understand why hubby & I kept laughing at her.

LOL!!

Totally matches Deepavali theme.

I love it when I see their sisterly moments.

No doubt they fight and scream at each other everyday.

But I know they still love each other very very very much and will always be holding each other's hand.

HAPPY DEEPAVALI!!!

Super love public holidays.

Cos hubby is around.

Feels like a Saturday as well!

Woke up early to head down to Red Star Restaurant this morning.

It's our family public holiday ritual to go somewhere for a good breakfast early in the morning.

Left home at 8am!!

Left the restaurant at about 9.30am and the queue was so long all the way down the staircase.

Thankful we were there early.

No queue at all.

Went for a joyride.

Wanted to see the new Punggol Waterway.

But by the time we reached, the sun was scorching HOT!

Everybody was in unison to just sit in the car.

Drove past our future house as it was on the way home.

Nothing has progress yet, which is of course.

Just cranes and blocks.

Still proud to call that area my future home!!!

16TH MONTH PROGRESS

Started on 4oz of Enfapro.
Knocks on the door.
Takes the vaccum and pretends to "vaccum"
Likes to take books to "read"
"Combs" her hair.
Able to point to her nose when asked.
Likes to draw.
Likes to hug other kids.
Holds a soft toy and pretends to feed it/comb hair/hug it.
Likes to go to the kitchen and open the cupboards and drawers.
Attempts to pull out her shoes and socks when asked to.
When she is happy, she claps her hands.
Bounces to music.
Gets jealous when hubby & I hug.
Fights and screams at her sister over toys or when her sister snatches/ refuses to share the toys.
(Fiesty little tiger!)
Still loves to eat!

Mid Autumn Festival 2011

This post is super backdated, as 中秋节 actually falls on the 12/09/11 this year.

However, hubby was in camp and unable to celebrate with us.

Anyway.

After dinner the day BEFORE 中秋节,

my sil and her bf brought Sera out to the front porch to play with sparklers.

Sera had lots of fun!

As it was her first time playing with sparklers.

But she doesn't like the noisy ones.

I think the noise scares her.

15TH MONTH PROGRESS

Drinks 2oz of Enfalac plus 2oz of Enfapro.
Has a total of 8 teeth. No new teeth growing.
On the 05.09.11, Angelica officially WALKS by herself the whole day and have been walking ever since. =)
Her first and favorite word is "mum mum" (food)
Itchy fingers.
Understands when I tell her simple instructions.
(e.g lie down, sit down, etc.)
Knocks on the door.
Eats everything.
Knows how to take the stool and sit on it.
Sometimes insists on feeding or drinking from the cup herself.
Persistent.
Knows how to take her slippers and ask us to help her to wear to indicate that she wants to go outside and walk.
Pulls us to the car or the gate to indicate she wants us to bring her out.
Still super sticky to her mommy.
TV addict.
Pacifier addict.
