went out with BF in the afternoon. wisma-ed, suntec-ed & funan-ed.
just wanted to let everyone know my 2 weeks at IMH is up.
initially i tot going to IMH would be so bothersome.
every morning/afternoon when i wake up to go to work i'll be like so sian.
becos it would be another day at work.
but when i reach work its where the fun begins.
and time really passes very fast when i'm with my patients and with my friends.
i've grown to accept every individual as they are.
becos all of them are so cuteeeeeeeeeeee larrhs.
even their random words and actions.
=D
and the best thing is..
i don't need to do hourly parameters/vital signs as i do in general ward.
its very relaxing & not so hectic.
although the patients may quarrel with each other, but at the end of the day they still help each other when help is needed. (THIS IS THE LOVE!!!)
i get to play with patients. & they're very enthu when they play with u. (there's even a chinese checkers pro ok!!)
i get to watch my 530pm chinese drama cos they do too!! =)
majority of the patients are very helpful & friendly. & most of the time we don't have to do things for them. they know how to do it themselves. =) (too helpful until i don't know what to do)
all the patients at IMH treat you as friends, not slaves.
the staff are awesome & friendly people.
IMH should hold a IMH IDOL for the patients there. becos alot of them are very talented. (singing/dancing was one of forefiets for our structured activity)
the party & structured activity we had with our patients before we left was a bomb!! (we had pandan cake smeared with NUTELLA!! & rainbow sprinkles with blueberry syrup drink for the party!! of cos, after a round of pass-the-ball as our structured activity. i did the MACARENA with my friend as a forefiet. LOL!! )
just in case you don't know what the MACARENA is.. i specially searched this on youtube!
hahaha!! long live the 90s!!!
i think it was a great experience.
oh, how stressful it would be when we go back to SGH.
T-T
and i have NIGHT SHIFT.
lucky only for one night only.
as usual, i'm not looking forward to monday.
first day back at general ward.
i have to hand in my reflective journal abt my experience in IMH.
speaking of reflective journal.
isn't what i'm typing here a reflective.. blog??
hahaha.
i would love to print this and show mdm ler.
hmmm..
on the other hand, NOT.
bye people.
will update when i can.
haven started on my reflective journal yet!!
=)
sending my un-glamorous kisses to you with the wind..
** EDIT. DEAREST MS ATIKA,

love always, your friendly mrt/bus friend. SERENE.
Love is patient, Love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
But rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
Always hopes, always perserveres.
LOVE NEVER FAILS.
