Selection of our First flat.
After a month of daily obssessive checks on HDB website for flats available,
it was
FINALLY our turn to choose our flat.
I honestly thought we would not have a chance, as our ballot number was really way off.
Hubby & I had a long discussion the day before to get it or not.
Problem was, it was left with only floors from the 2nd level to the 4th.
I was sort of disapointed.
COS I REALLY LIKE THE AREA!!!!!
But we finally decided to get it cos the area was good, and we wouldn't know if the following areas coming out would be to our liking and convenience.
Our appointment was at 0830hrs.
Had to drag the kids out and Sera was superrrrrrrrrr grumpy.
Had to bribe her with biscuits then she became slightly happier.
Tsk.
THANKFULLY,Angel was in a cheery mood.
I don't think I can handle 2 grumpy girls.
In laws were super nice and dropped us there before they headed to church.
Save us alot of touble and cab fare!
We were there before 8am!
There were already other people there, and HDB wasn't exactly opened yet.
So we browsed through the 3D models of different flats.
There are
SOOOOOOOOOOO many new flats coming up.
And some were really nice!!!

Application and processing took quite awhile.
And loads of explaining and paper work to read and sign.
But it's official!
We're gonna be proud home owners in estimated year 2015.
(Why do BTOs take so long to build?)
That's like in 4 years time.
But never mind.
Work hard now, save lots of money then we can buy nice furniture for our house.
=)
We had Macs for breakfast as a family after that.
Trained down to AMK Hub for some grocery shopping before going home to rest.
