went for checkup today.
all the eating during CNY didnt affect me or baby much.

so that means i can eat more!

so i just realised the right word to describe my huge-mongus nose.

i have not updated my blog approximately 6 days already.
firstly i want to wish all i have not wished a very..
HAPPY & BLESSED CHINESE NEW YEAR!!hoped all of you recieved fat fat angbaos.
cos this year hubby & i were the ones giving out angbaos.
(T-T)
now i feel the pain when mummy tells me every year that her heart aches when she gives out angbaos. i feel your agony lah.
but i think since it is our first year of marriage,
we managed to recieve quite a bit in return.
and we'll be donating it to our baby's charity fund lor.
lucky baby. see how much daddy & mummy loves you?
anyway.
i do not have pictures to update as all of them are in my
FIL's camera.
but i'll just type everything in as memory sake.
24/01/09MY FIRST REUNION DINNER.with my in - laws lah.
but
FIRST,
in the afternoon..
hubby & i travelled back to niang jia for
LUNCH REUNION with my mama.
i miss her cooking so much lah.
a simple fare of har cheong gai (ginger fried chicken), veggie, milk fish, black mushroom & fa choy (black moss which represent prosperity) with pork & abalone fish maw soup.
im so glad at least i managed to go back home to have a meal with my mama before
CNY.=)
after that we rushed back home for
DINNER REUNION with my in laws.
we had steam boat!!!
=D
many thingys like meatballs, fishballs, abalone, fish maw, expensive beef, pork, sotong, prawns, mushrooms, fish, etc etc etc..
eat until i stomachache okay??
LOL.but i really enjoyed dinner.
=)
25/01/09MY SECOND REUNION DINNER.with my in - law's family.
at
Peach Garden Restaurant.which i also found out is part of Tung Lok group.
ok anyway.
we had like 8 course meal.
first we lou hei!!
(stole abit of raw salmon to eat because im not supposed to) =X
actually this is our third lou hei already.
once at my
FIL's company dinner at Paramount,
and another time at Tung Lok Vivo.
(I AM SO XING FU!!!)den had sharksfin soup, mushroom with the fa choy & pork & sea cucumber & abalone, crispy roasted pork skin, noodles with big prawns! and 2 more i cannot remember already lah.
dessert was almond or cheng teng with
SEASEME TANG YUAN!!i love! =)
although it was not really cooked.

26/01/09FIRST DAY OF CNY!i wore red & white.
(which kinda reminds me of singapore flag cos my red was bright)
thought wearing red on the first day of
CNY was being traditional mah!
served tea to my in-laws & took photos before heading of to my
FIL's mama's place for gathering & a
BIG FEAST!!!we had chicken, abalone & veg, my
MIL's yummy roasted pork, fried prawns, mushroom & fa choy, roasted duck, big bowls of abalone soup and alot of things i cannot remember also lah.
walnut soup for dessert!
den after that we headed off to my
MIL's mama's place and had delievered pizza hut.
LOL!!den headed to different aunties & uncles houses.
we stopped by my mom's place too!!
she made lor bak gou (carrot cake) and logan dessert.
YOU'RE THE BEST MUMMY!!=D
cos i was so sick of going to every house and eating bak kwa, love letters, pineapple tarts & other
CNY goodies and lots of soft drinks.

confirm this week when i go see the doctor my weight shoot up again,
he already told me to eat lesser during
CNY. heh.
esp pineapple tarts.
ironically, i've been helping my
MIL to bake pineapple tarts, how to not eat???
temptations are so hard to resist!
HAHA.so after that we went to visit some more people till like 7 plus lor.
this is like my first visiting that is so xiong.
cos usually my mom's side very relax one!
i was so shag when i got home okay..
27/01/09SECOND DAY OF CNY!i was so shagged from the day before i could not drag myself out of bed in the morning.
so hubby had to go alone to his first uncle's house with his brothers & dad.
thankfully my in laws were understanding.
=)
where else my
MIL, SIL & I stayed at home to await the arrival of our guests at approximately 12pm.
my sister in law made her
"famous" home-made pizzas.
(which i also ate alot since yesterday till today. i had 2 slices for breakfast today leh! jialat.)
we had century egg & pork porridge too.
and lots of soft drinks &
CNY goodies.
OH NO!!!!! seriously, confirm rapid weight gain.
anyway,
mostly spent the time talking/ serving people or resting in the bedroom in between or playing
WII!!addicted already lor!

our last guest went home at 11 plus at night.
i had a pretty fun night although once in a while i was pulling a long face at my hubby sometimes for no apparent reason. (its my hormones im telling you.)
heh.

HAH.
went down to my bridal shop last night with hubby to collect...
ohh.. i love. =)
our bed side portrait and a huge portrait to hang up.
(i am so chio can??? lol)
and also we collected our heavy wedding album.
LIKE FINALLY!!
gonna collect our photos so we can give out before CNY.
good timing.
been waiting like forever already lorh.
everybody has been nagging at us about it.

my in laws say cannot hang up our beautiful big portrait yet.
puntang i suppose.
its okay.
i wait.
was browsing through the album last night.

i have put on so much weight lorh.
hopefully can slim down to my previous size.
ugh.
im horrible now..
i told hubby last night not to show anyone the album,
so no one can compare me to what i used to be.
=P
i will go hide it somewhere..
p.s my tummy aches are getting worse. often resulting in sufficient lack of sleep. help! =(

yeah, i know O level results came out a few days ago.
made me a little sad and a slight twinge of regret.
cos if i joined my 5B to do Os i would have collected my results last year.
however people like jiarong, nadiah, clara, jacq, etc, etc, etc would have collected theirs this year.
(no i have not forgotten about you guys)
i wondered how you guys did??
i envy those who got the opportunity to be able to go to JC, poly or even study private like NAFA or SHATEC or MDIS..
somehow i wish i didnt pass up the opportunity too.
i would have done Mass Comm.
(always wanted to go into that line, english has always been my forte and it was an additional plus if you did well in english. i wanted to be a journalist.)
but i decided to choose another path.
with mummy's full support. (thats why i love you because you always stand by me no matter what decisions i make or do)
at least i got through my course and i can soon pledge to be a nurse.
all those memories & all that fun & love.
how can i ever forget?
in my dreams sometimes,
i dreamt of what it was like if i had a second chance.
and i wake up realising there wouldnt be any..
but nursing has opened up my mind & my heart.
and since i've chosen to walk this road i won't look back. or at least try not to.

guy is a vampire. (not to mention a HUNK!!!)
girl is human. (or was)
apparently they got married and she become a vampire in the last book of
BREAKING DAWN.
and she become HOT like her HUNK of her husband.
(so becoming a vampire actually makes you gorgeous!!)
vampire adores girl and loves her and has eyes for no one else.
like seriously,
which girl would not want that huh???
then they got married and had a half vampire half human intelligent gorgeous baby with a brilliant gift.

looking back at all my photos in the recent years..
WHALAOS!!i look so round & unglam now lah.
stupid hormones & pills making me pop.
my nose is 2 times bigger then a mushroom head.
i cant fit into my wedding band.
(which for your information i purposely bought a size bigger)
and my feets & legs look like pig's trotters.
(my mom says for my confinement just chop them off & cook can serve many people)
