10th of July 2010.
That was the day we celebrated Angelica's first month at my mom's place.
No invitation cards.
No grand celebration.
No big cake.
Just her & the people close to her hearts.
Initially there was no intended celebration as Hubby's grandma was critically ill in the hospital.
And if I were to go to my mom's place,
he would not be able to go as he was expected to be in the hospital.
(Angelica dear, I hope someday you will understand. If daddy & mommy could give you a grand celebration of the celebration of your birth, we would have already.. But we can't, but we still want you to know that we love you.)
But after consent from my in-laws that hubby could come with me,
we quickly rushed to book a cake, mil made red eggs, fil bought roasted pork & duck,
& we called up people to head down to my mom's place in the afternoon.
Dressed her up in a pretty red & white romper dress
(bought by mil some days before, from Mothercare.)
And she looks oh, so pretty in it.
=)
And she wore the gold anklet my mom bought for her.
We made a first stop to see hubby's maternal grandmother to give the red eggs & stuff.

Sat there for awhile & had siew mai & baos to eat,
that was bought from Tiong Bahru on our way there.

Then we rushed over to my mom's place while hubby headed down to Vivo to collect the cake.
(Lucky we managed to get the cake we wanted despite the last minute booking.)
We bought from Bakerzin & it was yummy!~

Not much photos as most of them were taken by my step sis,
and she still hasn't sent it to us!!
Firstly, I would like to thank my in-laws & my mom for helping us with her first month.
And secondly, to everyone else who came despite the last minute call-up.
Although we had to rush off because Aloi's grandma wasn't doing too well,
I just want to thank everyone for their love & support.
