Hubby's Birthday.
[09.03.12]

Hubby came back from work that Friday and asked if we were going out.
Bluffed him and said we were going out shopping.
Can see his not-very-happy face.
LOL!But I actually had dinner planned already.
=)

Astons @ The Cathay.
If you had eaten at Astons before, you should know that they don't take reservations.
Was abit worried the queue might be very long.
Cos everytime we were at The Cathay to catch movies,
the queue is like super
LONG!!!IT'S SCARY!
So decided to take the chance to bring hubby to Astons to try.
- Was recommended & read reviews that the food was good.
- It was affordable.
- Hubby had requested for steak on his birthday.
THANKFULLY.
We didn't have to wait very long to get a place cos the queue was very short!
=)
However, the restaurant itself is quite small and tables were placed very close together, probably to accommodate more people cos the outlet there is apparently quite hot.

Busy playing Draw Something,
while waiting for the food..
(Didn't edit the pic. Just that the flash was on
and made me look whiter then usual. LOL!)

Stone face.

They serve IBC root beer!!
(I'm a sucker for root beer btw, if you didnt know. =D)Ordered our steaks, with complimentary 2 side dishes of your choice.
From my experience with eating steaks,
was abit skeptical the steaks might be small and thin cos it was
REALLY affordable!

My 180g medium done
ribeye steak.

Hubby's 400g medium rare done
porterhouse steak.
I was pleasantly surprised my steak was done just the way I had ordered it.
Usually when I ordered steaks as medium,
it would come to me as medium well-done or medium rare. =(
AND ALSO..
I couldn't finish my steak.
Which means it was a solid thick piece of meat!
=)

Total bill - $51.40.
AFFORDABLE RIGHT?

So after dinner, managed to psycho hubby to go to Plaza Singapura with me.
Bluffed him again that I wanted to go Daiso to get stuffs.
=P
But actually I had already bought tickets for a movie which he
ALSO had been telling me he wanted to watch.

Act of Valor .
Initially I wasn't exactly interested in the show.
Cos it was a
WAR show..
But it was actually quite nice, although the story line was pretty predictable.
=)

Hubby's present.
He kept pestering me & asking me what it was.
(Cos I presented it to him a few hours before his birthday to "torture" him. Muahaha!!)
Hubby: "Tell me, what category does it (the present) falls under??"
Me: "Food."
Why food you ask me?Cos it's
'APPLE' product mah.
GEDDIT GEDDIT??LOL!!!!
Ipod touch.
=)
I don't do this very often...
But here is a very hiao picture of me on that day.
=D

Hope hubby had enjoyed his birthday.
It wasn't much. Neither was it a big or grand or expensive celebration.
But still, I hope it had meant something to him.
Because everything I had planned, was tailored to what he had wanted
=)
I love you dear.
