Found this on my handphone!
03/06/2010 I remember I was busy with a patient on that day.
And suddenly my colleague came & told me that she will take over from me as I was wanted.
She told me to go "behind" & I thought "behind" was the waiting lounge.
As I went there,
I was wondering where everyone was & busy grumbling to myself.
Just nice the operation theater nurse came down to fetch one patient & I happened to step in.
There was nobody around.
So then I went to the pantry to call the waiting lounge nurse cos I wanted to go back to my own patient.
But I was already in a pretty irritate mode cos my colleague told me someone was looking for me & there was nobody in sight!
As I struggle to pull open the door that leads to the pantry, someone was pushing it close.
WTH?After saying irritatedly that the OT nurse was here to fetch & patient & I have to be with another patient,
Lisa walked out and said she will handle it.
Then I was thinking who off the lights??
Then they started singing
"Happy Birthday" to me.
And I was stunned..
My birthday cake that they got me.
Felt really bad for being so grumpy after that.
(-_-")
They even gave me a rose lor.
(T-T)
Such sweethearts right?
Although my birthday falls on the 20th June,
they told me they wanted to celebrate early in case I went into labour too soon.
(I chose to give birth to Angelica on the 12th but I was already past 37 weeks.)
This year, my birthday felt like an ordinary day.
And also cos I had to stay at home for confinement,
no celebrations or cakes and such.
=(
But I had plenty of well wishes on facebook, which made my day.
I will always remember what the staffs at my work place has done for me.
Especially the 2 sisters.
Everybody's really nice.
And it makes up for it.
=)
I love the new place that I work at now!
Strangely, before I gave birth I couldn't wait for my maternity leave.
Now that I am on maternity leave I can't wait to go back to work.
But also I don't really want to go back to work cos I like spending time with my kids.
Oh wells,
one cannot have the best of both worlds.
Back to work in October which is pretty much quite soon to me!
