yesterday i was going through pictures on hubby's laptop.

therefore brought upon the nostalgia of my preggy days.

thats why in my previous posts i put up 2 pics of my bump!

AHHH..

my little bump is no longer there to rub and to feel little kicks and hiccups.

more rather, i am able to hold my what used to be bump in my arms now.

=)

cant wait to have baby number 2 again.

HAHA.

but of cos not so soon lah..

hopefully the next one will be a boy??

so i was going through some other photos.

and i found..

yeah.

baby's very first scan at KKH!!

kinda blur cos i took a picture of it as we were not allowed to keep that copy.

she was only a few weeks old, a little blob with a blinking heartbeat then.

when we first saw her,

our hearts melted.

at that time we have not told our parents yet.

we were so scared.

and yet some how i was exhilarated that a little life was forming in me.

anyway didnt really like KKH cos they ask me back to do counseling cos i was not married yet.

then one thing led to another..

and good thing my in laws decided to put me in Gleneagles and i had such a great gynae!!

=)

thankfully i have such an understanding mom and my in-laws gave me a chance to be their daughter-in-law.

and thanks to my sis and my bro-in-law for being there for us and giving us advice.

oh yeah. forgot to mention.

Tuesday i went down to SGH HR dept located at Bukit Merah to sign all the forms and my contract.

went down to SGH to do my medical checkup and register at Singapore Nursing Board.

and it was raining so damn heavy.

i was sooooo smart, i didnt bring my umbrella cos i saw the weather so freaking hot in the morning.

the medical checkup was damn waste of time also.

first i had to go down to the staff clinic,

run down to SGH block 3 to do blood test,

run down to block 2 to do chest x-ray,

run back down to block 3 to collect my blood test result,

run back to the staff clinic to have the doctor do a physical examination on me.

well anyway,

i'm officially a nurse now.

WOOO~~~

reality is setting in..

everyone is telling me how their work life sucks.

less then a month before i start work.

i'll miss staying at home to look after my baby girl.

oh yeah.

been wanting to post this up.

before i forget i better type down everything.

anyway,

i love to watch GREY'S ANATOMY.

im a big fan!

if you have been reading my blog,

around december or so hubby bought me GREY'S ANATOMY season 4.

so since i saw the season 3 i also bought it.

as his sister has season 1 & 2,

during my holidays i chiong through.

(actually hubby says for me to watch during my confinement one)

but you know,

i got addicted so i kept watching & watching & watching until finish lor.

heh.

so for the benefit of those who dont watch,

so yeah.

yeah, like finally got the 4R photos from my bridal shop.

can finally give it out.

WTH.

like so many months past my wedding already lor.

some more got to chase them how many freaking times??

ZZZ..

i miss my figure.

give me back!!!

didnt do much today lor.

except go to church.

girlgirl was dressed up in a pretty pink dress with matching pink undies and a pink headband.

my little gorgeous girl.

after that we wanted to go down to Tanah Merah Country Club for lunch,

but then couldnt cos KPE was closed or something likedat..

so back to Vivo to eat at Tung Lok again as my fil had alot of Tung Lok vouchers that expires in a month and a half.

nvm mah no lost.

i also very gian to eat their mango sago with pomelo with vanilla ice cream in a coconut topped with oatmeal,

which i saw my mil eating it last week and so fell in love with it.

WOOTS!~

and we walked around for abit after that.

came home and edited my blog template here and there.

look after baby girl.

thats all lor.

what a stereotyped life..

gonna upload some videos of my daughter's nonsense on youtube and blog it soon.

this morning the cutest thing happened to my little girl.

while my daughter was "complaining" about i dont know what,

i sat her on my lap then she kept quiet.

then suddenly she started making noises, smiling and laughing to herself.

and she did that for quite awhile.

i turned to hubby and told him she was talking to angels.

baby's first time in church after being out of my tummy!!

everybody was coo-ing at her & saying she's so pretty & so cute.

=D

my mil dressed her in a Peony baby red dress with matching red undies she bought at the Isetan private sale.

and she wore the white head band with a small ribbon on her head,

i bought at Mothercare the day before.

had to make her wear mittens as her nails were long,

and socks as it was cold.

totally clash with her outfit lor.

anyway,

it was also hubby's & i first time in the baby room.

which was pretty cool.

cos we get to sit on mattresses and still listen to the sermon at the same time.

and baby slept on the mattress too.

after service,

my mom "snatched" her away to show her off to church people..

LOL.

after much coo-ing & admiring,

my in-laws, hubby, baby & i went down to vivo. again.

to have a simple fare of lunch at Tung Lok as there were so few of us.

after that we went to Mothercare to get my Avent breast pump.

ON SALE LEH!!!

30 bucks off.

and also we had like many brand new boxes of Avent milk containers given to us.

worth it lor.

so we bought it.

tell you all something funny.

so yeah,

my mil was at Daiso,

my hubby went to Daiso to find his mom to get the Mothercare discount card,

my fil & i were slowly walking to Mothercare as we were waiting for hubby to catch up with us.

so i was too busy looking around at clothes & stuff.

apparently my fil told us later that alot of people were staring at the both of us,

probably giving dirty looks too.

mumbling alot of "stuffs" lah.

dont wish to elaborate.

but something to do with an older man with a younger woman and a baby.

LOL.

then my mil say im the china woman mistress.

so after that my fil went to Daiso to look for my mil,

while hubby & i changed her diapers.

whalaos.

VIVO SHOULD HAVE MORE DIAPER CHANGING ROOMS.

1 pathetic room & soooo many people queue.

worse still was the first time that hubby & i went to change baby at the toilet near Tung Lok,

the changing room was in the FEMALE TOILET.

SO HOW MY HUBBY GO IN WITH ME???

i like the one at raffles city & amk hub.

much more spacious & bright, they dont stink and no need to queue cos theres more then one pathetic station.

okay, enough ranting.

after that hubby & i went to walkie around while i carried baby in my arms.

she was so adorable & guai.

her eyes open wide wide,

her head turn left & right,

looking at everything & anything.

i think she likes to shop too!

=)

just like her mommy.

then alot of people walk past us and kept looking at her & smiling.

i realize especially old people leh.

then one woman told me she looked like a doll.

=D=D=D=D=D

MY BABY DOLL!!

haha.

so after that we went home and took a rest,

before my mil drove us to amk so that hubby & i could have our hair cut.

well,

not too bad lah.

at least my fringe is not covering my eyes anymore..

then we home-d.

hubby & i went VIVO by ourselves to go shopping!!

WOOOO~~~

like finally.

initial plan was to take public transport and drop baby off at my mom's place,

cos its so near vivo and she would be able to look after girlgirl while we were out.

but my in-laws were nice and dropped baby off instead.

so we left home at about 1130pm by ourselves and took a cab to vivo.

first we had to go OCBC to drop off baby's fatfat cash she recieved as angbaos,

then i had to go POSB to get a new ATM card

(which is now a Mastercard debit card but only cannot use to do online payments)

so i thought
HECK, WHY NOT?

i did another Mastercard debit card so that i could use it in case i needed to do online payments.

(which most probably be shopping lor. LOL.)

went down to UOB to close my other account

& i said BYEBYE to my Visa card cos they took it and cut it into half.

=(

after that we went shopping.

before precious was born,

i always shopped ALOT. for myself.

now that she is born,

all we shop for is HER.

i didnt buy anything for myself except a black pants lor.

everything else was for her.

baby hangers, baby pacifiers, baby dresses, baby nose cleaner, winnie the pooh baby on board car stick-on.. etc

so many other things we bought for her lah.

then we went CANDY EMPIRE to buy my fil a big bottle of JELLYBEANS.

cos he loves 'em.

and to COCOA TREES to buy my mil a box of FERRO RENOIR which is better then FERRO ROCHE lor.

and bought 99% dark chocs for my mom.

(dont know how true lah, but i thought it would be nice to buy something for my mom)

after walking around some more,

it was already 4pm plus.

as we were very tired,

we cabbed down to my mom's place.

(so rich hor? cab twice in a row already)

so we had home-cooked dinner,

corn-beef stew, fried prawn dumplings and chicken.

YUM!!!~

my mom's cooking is the LOVE.

after that my in-laws came to fetch us.

(lucky lor, if not take cab again)

not much of a day lah.

but i had fun spending time with hubby.

hugshugs & lovelove.

power failure at the house at about 1030pm for almost 3 hours.

WTH.

so it started like this..

i was on the phone with my mom,

cos i usually call her between 10-11pm everyday.

halfway while talking,

i noticed my room light flickering.

so i was thinking:

"aiya my fil just called the technician to fix it, why so fast flickering?"

so i didnt bother about it.

baby was sleeping on our bed beside me & hubby went downstairs to dunno do what lah.

suddenly my lights went out.

ME: "eh mommy, my room lights just went out leh."

MOMMY: "black out isit?"

ME: "cannot be lah, tv still on leh. usually black out everything off at once what. "

just as i said that,

the tv started flickering.

(-_-")

then the tv off by itself.

ME: "eh mommy.. hello? hello?"

TELEPHONE: "toot.toot.toot.toot"

ME: "whalaos..." *shows sianjipua face* (-_-")

stupid phone line also cut off.

aircon also shut off by itself.

so i was pretty scared lah,

cos it was so dark cos i closed the blinds in my room.

i didnt want to be alone in my room,

so i carried my sleeping baby out and then i heard hubby running up the stairs and he asked me if i was okay a not.

then my sil came out and started complaining.

(-_-")

after awhile after calling PUB and all that,

we took out candles and lit them all over the house.

actually it was quite fun leh.

so i left baby in the care of my mil while i went down to the living room to find hubby & his younger bro playing psp while waiting to see if any technicians were coming.

then i started singing "campfire burning"

& chanting "chop chilli chop"

cos it reminded me of sec 3 camp when we were having campfire night.

LOL.

hubby must have thought i was nuts.

then i went up to fan my baby girl (who was still sleeping) together with my mil,

because we were afraid mosquitoes would come and bite her.

so i told my mil next time when she grows older,

my mil will fan her & i will feed her grapes,

like those ancient people in Rome.

MY DAUGHTER IS SO PAMPERED LOR.

what to do?

everybody loves her mah.

hahahaha.

after almost 2 hours plus of waiting i got tired cos it was already past 12am.

i retired to my bedroom,

despite complaining not being able to sleep because of the stupid aircon,

i still fell asleep anyway.

hubby ran up & down to check on me, reassuring me everything was gonna be okay & to check if the stupid technicians were coming to check our power board.

& finally i heard hubby coming up and on-ing the aircon in our room.

YAY!!!

then hubby took a cloth and wipe my face & arms & legs, kissed me on my forehead and took the blanket to cover before he went to sleep.

consciously i was aware what was happening,

but sub-consciously i was too sleepy to do anything.

I LOVE MY HUBBY LAH!!!

he is the sweetest & greatest hubby ever.

its not only the big things,

but the small things that matters too.

and by doing all this i know that YOU love me too.

=)

i am still behind in my blogging lor.

today is monday and im blogging about last wednesday.

im so s.l.o.w.

anyway,

"today" my little baby girl Seraphina turns 1 month old.

it is THE official day.

=)

we dressed baby girl up in her little Oshkosh red cherries romper my fil bought for her at vivo.

it also has 2 fat cherries embroidered on her right butt.

LOL.

and also a cherry hat bought for her by my sil.

here are some pictures taken of her before my mil & i left home to go to my mom's place for lunch.

so first we dropped off at baby's maternal great-grandma's side to drop of baby's first month cake.

mommy cooked macaroni.

we also had home made fried dumplings & lou bak gou!!

it was LOVE.

cos i miss mommy's cooking soooo much.

=(

then we cut baby's first month cake,

the same CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE we had, twice.

LOL.

it.is.THAT.good.

from somehwhere at bukit timah,

called Jane's cake station?

oh or something likedat lah.

her cakes are yum.

after that my mil left to do some errands.

sis & her hubby bought baby her first prayer book, POOH blankie & a baby pacifier thermometer which i thought was super useful.

dont know where to get leh.

plus now with her around,

very hard for me to go shopping.

ZZZ.. ZZZ..

so after awhile everyone left,

and baby and i stayed for dinner.

later in the night my mil came & picked me up with hubby.

not much of a celebration,

but its good to be back home where i grew up in my comfort zone.

I MISS HOME!!!

and mommy too.

it was raining heavily the whole morning.

ZZZ..

but charlene & alecia came over around noon,

depite the rain.

awwwwwwwwwww..

baby & me loves you guys.

=)

so we talked & gossiped while i had lunch.

then baby poop-ed.

so had to change her diaper.

charlene VOLUNTEERED her services,

but i ended up washing baby's butt.

LOL.

its okay.

at least she tried & she helped to wear baby's diaper & put nappy cream & wrap her up like "popiah"

=D

so i told her she's welcome to be baby's part-time nanny anytime.

anyway,

she's free till october lor.

help to occupy some of your time.

=P

so after that,

baby kept complaining cos she wanted to drink her milk.

so nanny charlene fed her,

while alecia & i played RAVING RABBIDS 2 on Wii.

=D

after baby fell asleep,

charlene got hooked and i think if she had the chance,

she would stay overnight to play raving rabbids on the wii.

LOL.

so they left about 430pm.

after they left i had to rush & pack baby's bag,

cos it was hubby's birthday TODAY.

at The Mandarin Oriental for dinner!!!

we were trying to teach her to hold her bottle.

she was wearing a pink Ralph Lauren top,

quite thick as the restaurant was gonna be cold.

and pink striped pants with her pink booties and her white & pink headband.

my little piglet soon fell fast asleep!

so here we are at Molton's The Steakhouse.

apparently their steaks are very well known and has even been published on the papers.

oh yeah,

and their steaks ARE good.

and like big & fat!!!

yeah yeah,

here is a fat ass picture of me with baby while waiting for my mil to help me change baby's diaper as she decided to poopoo upon the reaching our destination.

funny thing is, Mandarin Oriental toilets does not have a diaper changing station,

how tough man.

lucky my mil helped..

well, or rather SHE was the one who changed baby's diaper.

heh.

wouldnt have known what to do if she was not around.

=)

first up,

we had complimentary bread to stimulate our appetites.

(apparently my mil LOVES the bread here)

which soon finished very fast as you can see at the empty plate.

we ordered a bottle of wine & sparkling water to drink.

(actually drinking sparkling water while having a meal is really good, because only a sip will make you feel as if you as if you drank alot probably because its carbonated, unlike drinking normal water, i tend to drink alot at one go during a meal)

after which,

we placed our order.

look at what Molton's printed on their menu just for hubby!!

i ordered the Lobster Bisque which was quite yummy!

however,

my in laws were saying it wasnt as good as it used to be..

maybe i got confined too long already,

everything tastes good to me.

LOL.

so after taking pictures and stuffs,

our steaks came!!

PORTERHOUSE STEAK (medium rare),

while i ordered the normal
RIBEYE (medium).

looks good right??

apparently i am the only one who eats medium in the family,

as the rest ordered their steaks in medium rare.

hubby says cos medium rare is juicer.

but my ribeye tasted really nice and juicy too mah??

O.o

actually my ribeye was too much for me as it was big & fat unlike other places you go,

the steak they serve is like so small you can finish it in one swallow.

so i forced myself to finish it as i didnt want to waste it as it was really expensive lor.

dont know how hubby managed to finish his porterhouse steak when its so much bigger then mine.

CARNIVORE.

LOL.

after eating,

i placed baby on my lap and hubby & i started playing with her cos she was making noise.

then one of the.. ang moh supervisors?

came and was like

"awww... can i take a picture of you guys?"

and he took a picture of us,

nicely placed it in a card and had their staff signed the card.

it was like the SWEETEST surprise.

=)

after that ANOTHER surprise came.

the Molton's staff came and presented this to hubby.

its suppose to be his "birthday cake"

(so cute leh, they put the candle in a tiny bucket on ice. LOL.)

and they sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

(which sounded really good, seriously. they probably went for like singing classes or something)

his "birthday cake" reminded me of mud ooze,

ONLY BETTER!!!

its chocolate cake with rich warm chocolate fudge that oozes out while eating it.

I LOVE!!!!

we also had a lemon suffle & creme brule which we all shared.

I SO OVER-ATE OKAY!!

and we took some more pictures.

and again.. another supervisor??

took a photo of us,

this time the entire family.

and printed it out and had their staff sign.

when we left the restuarant,

i knew hubby was really high & happy.

and i was also happy knowing he was too.

and it also the first time he celebrated his birthday with baby.
