today i was almost late for work.

cos my daughter was being naughty.

breast fed her in the morning and she did not want to let go.

then after awhile i turned to hubby and told him that i REALLY needed him to look after her if not i would be late for work!

hubby said it was her diaper and then he went to change her while i got ready a bottle of milk for her.

then in the end she did not want to drink.

before i left i "scolded" girlgirl,

saying she was very naughty not letting mommy go to work & not letting daddy sleep a little while more.

she looked at me and gave me:

her signature "m" smile.

(i call it "m" smile cos when she smiles her eyes really look like the aplahabet "m")

see what i mean??

literally "M"!

makes me really wonder..

天不怕, 地不怕, 媽媽也不怕!

okay so i finally decided to blog today.

with my daughter sitting right infront of me playing her toy.

itchy hand..

trying to touch my laptop.

yeah.

so we found out yesterday that my girl is already teething!!!

=D

this is SO AWESOME!

no wonder she has been so cranky & temperamental lately.

always so fidgety, always wanting to suck something & leaking saliva like a tap.

cant really see it yet.

but its like a white dot there.

BUT CAN FEEL IT!!

put my hand inside and touch touch this morning.

its quite to the front at the right side.

SHE'S GROWING SO FAST!

well anyway,

yesterday was Alex's Farewell Party.

(he's my oldest bro-in-law)

going to Australia to study.

SO EXCITING!!

maybe he'll come back with angmoh girlfriend after that.

haha!

cool.

in the evening,

hubby & i left to head down to Town.

before that went down to Wisma Atria to walk around as i was looking for a new dress for hubby's cousin's wedding in Sept.

Nothing nice at Isetan either.

so headed down to Tangs.

oh btw,

ALL SINGTEL USERS GOT 15% DISCOUNT OFF AT TANGS!!!

(cos they sent me the sms & my mom used it to buy new handbag the other day. never buy for me wor.)

hubby was so sweet & patient.

keeping me company while looking around, helping me look for saleslady for new stock or sizes and such & he was the one who found a nice simple white dress for me.

=)

i also bought another black dress to save for other occasions.

=P

SHOPPING MAKES ME HAPPY!

no more spending already.

later no more money!

time to start saving!

after that we headed down to Cathay to watch Transformers.

nice movie!

=)

as good as the first.

reached home quite late.

cos the movie was so long & we caught the 8pm slot.

so nice to stay at home today.

=D

will be heading down for Family Portrait down at some Studio before Alex leaves on Wednesday.

oh btw,

look what came in the mail a week ago?

thought angmoh sizes will be bigger as asian babies tend to be smaller size.

we bought the 6-12 months one and to our surprise it seems small for 6-12 months.

have to let girlgirl wear it soon as it may be getting smaller.

apparently Godzilla was in Tokyo.

so yeah...

Just came home not long ago.

went to Cathay to watch Transformers!!

nice show.

=)

but it was 2 and a half hour movie.

so halfway while watching, apparently mil msg me & hubby saying girl girl has already had her FIRST TEETH!!!

OMG!!!

is it too early to be teething before 5 months old??

came home wanted to see but sleeping le.

nvm!

tomorrow shall see.

off day tomorrow!

I've got LOADS to update!

but i have already had 4 morning shifts in a row.

and tomorrow will be final one.

im so tired..

every time i reach home all i want to do is sleep.

but i cant.

cos i have to look after my girl.

and after bathing her & feeding her milk,

its my turn to sleep.

today was a bad day for me..

(except being able to finally meet Jen!) =D

i hope tomorrow will be a better one.

woke up early to go to church.

and precious used the new bottle that we bought at Taka yesterday.

=)

im so proud of her.

she's able to hold it but still unsteady.

but its okay.

she's learning.

=)

dressed her up in a nice pink set with a matching hat!

so cute okay??

with nice white shoes!

she look like a little french girl.

LOL!

i told hubby i wanted to draw mustache on her and let her hold a baguette so it would complete the outfit.

kinda likedat.

oh it was also Father's Day!

after church hubby & i went out to chinatown to meet his sec sch friends for lunch.

headed down to Vivo and ate at Earle's Swensens there.

the food is not as nice as it used to be.

what a disappointment.

after that i had fun shopping around.

surprisingly i did not buy anything at all!

not even for my daughter.

I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!

after that we went home to rest for awhile before heading down to Boon Tong Kee for Father's day celebration.

just got back home not long ago..

im gonna rest.

need to work tomorrow.

it's my big day today!!

Happy Birthday to meee...

firstly i would like to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday through sms-es (some even past midnight!) MSN & blogger & my mil (through email. LOL!) & HZ (i read your blog. thanks babe. =D)

=)

okay,

usually i dont blog into details about my life.

but since its my birthday i think i should as this day would never repeat itself again.

=)

somehow it felt like any other ordinary day when i woke up this morning.

Hubby was up earlier then me and he sat beside me and whispered in my ear,

"Happy Birthday dear!"

then he grinned at me and then said,

"Happy Refugee Day too!!"

irritated, i hit his arm & went back to sleep.

being the good husband he is,

(or was it because it was my birthday??)

i later realized he had already bathe and fed my little girl waaay before i woke up.

=)

but despite sleeping till about 10am i was still feeling pretty tired.

(must be due to work!)

spent my entire morning slacking at home and playing with my girl before hubby & i impromptu decided to head down to town for a little shopping.

(I LIKE!!!)

cos it seemed like quite a long time since i last shopped from Far East Plaza all the way down to Plaza Singapura.

so we got ready and left home and reached Far East Plaza in record time!!

walked around and around cos i was looking for a nice pair of white shoes.

well, a woman can never have too many pairs of shoes you know.. ;)

and finally i bought one that i liked!!

i was so happy okay!!

cos i took a really long time searching for one that i like.

and i did not see anything until we were about ready to leave to head to Taka and i saw it!!

and also cos 30% off!!!

and it was so sweet with lace on it.

=D

$18 only okay!!

considered quite cheap for such a pretty pair of shoes.

after buying it i was grinning like a idiot who just won a pair of lottery tickets.

after that went to Taka and finally bought 6 sets of socks that looks like shoes for my daughter!!

so cute okay!!

so now she can wear her socks & dont wear shoes cos it looks like she is wearing them.

been DYING to buy it for like such a looooooooooong time.

couldnt resist and bought another set of headbands for her.

=X

and we also bought her a bottle with handles with changeable teats.

stage 1 : nipple teat.

stage 2: sprout.

stage 3: straw.

=)

this way she can hold her own bottle and learn how to start drinking.

and it also comes in Daddy's favorite color.

as we were rushing for time,

we took the bus home after shopping at Taka and went home to shower & get ready.

so matching some more.

headed down to a Mexican Restaurant called Margarita's at East Coast for my birthday with my family.

MY MOM WAS THERE TOO!!!

it felt nice to be able to celebrate my birthday with my mom & my in laws & hubby & BABY GIRL & family!

the Mexican food was a nice change!

and the food was nice too.

however i must have been a cow cos somehow i did not feel satisfied and everyone was saying they were full?

O.o

then i had my birthday cake!

chocolate cherry truffle? or something likedat lah.

cannot remember.

but i know it was nice.

felt more satisfied after eating it.

the photos i took with my family was blur due to the lighting so im not gonna post them up.

so yup.

that's the story of my birthday this year.

oh yeah!

hubby proposed to me!

haha.

MY BABY GIRL HAD HER FIRST MOUTH OF SEMI SOLIDS!!!

yeah and i was not there to witness my daughter's first mouth of semi solids.

i am so sad to not be there okay!

she is taking Nestle Wheat & Honey.

not only does my daughter love it,

so does my husband.

oh wells,

at least he would be able to finish up my girl's cereal if she cannot finish.

HAHA!

apparently she took 2 teaspoons of cereal instead of the usual 1 teaspoon to try.

and she was very greedy..

(so tam jiak can?)

i heard she also got very unhappy when my mil & hubby did not want to feed her more or when they were feeding her slow.

i was so excited to feed her.

i fed her 2 teaspoons again,

as the last time she was fed she finished it and everything was okay.

my girl is growing up so fast!

eating cereal makes me happy!!
