Had my 3 in 1 flu jab done on the 25.11.10.
My left arm is so sore now although it has been 2 days already.
I'm so tired cos I have been starting work at 7am the whole week.
And I had to work today as I'm scheduled to work one Saturday per month.
I started work at 6.30am.
Thank goodness for Mac declivery!!!
=)
Gonna get ready for SGH's Dinner & Dance at Resorts World Sentosa in awhile.
I really don't want to go.
But if I don't go then I would have to pay.
=(
Lucky hubby is around to look after the kids. (He's off today.)
Somehow I feel so guilty........
I'd rather spend the Saturday with my kids.
Zzzz...
Shall blog after the D&D is over!

ANGEL HAS HIT ANOTHER
MILESTONE!! =)

Pictures taken on the
21.11.10.Actually I realised that she was able to sit by herself about a week before the pictures were taken.
Just that I only had time to take pictures of her last Sunday.
Still a little wobbly and she tends to tumble once in awhile.
But she can totally sit upright by herself now.
This little girl is growing up fast!
♥

See what I mean?
Upright.

I am really really proud of her!

Many many more milestones to come!

Angel's first hair cut shave.
19.11.10
Finally decided to shave Angel's head after dragging for so long..
So not used to her being bald.
And yeah, totally regret............
Hopefully her hair grows back really
FAST and all that shaving should be worth it if she really grows more hair.
Just a couple of pictures I took of her head a few days back, just in case I impromptu-ly decide to get her head shaved.
(Been thinking of doing it for ages, but I just kept dragging cos I couldn't bear to.)

As you can see, her head is left with all the fine baby hair now.
Well, she literally look almost bald anyway.
Partly my reason for wanting to shave away her hair.
She totally had more hair when she was born.

Proof.
This picture was taken by hubby,
when she was first pushed out of the operation theater.
My mil did the shaving.
I just did the holding. Of her.
And left halfway cos I couldn't bear to see her hair getting shave away.
=(

Little girl oblivious,
to what is being done to her.

Good thing she wasn't cranky at all.

SHINY!!!
My little baldie.

Random picture of Sera.
I made Angel wear a hat today to church.
With a matching dress.
Really cannot tahan her botak head.
PLEASE GROW BACK FASTER!!!!!!!
She looks really cute in a hat.
=)

Trying to pull off her hat.

Gonna make her wear a hat as often as I can!
Till her hair grows back anyway..
I actually have more pictures that I took today.
Angel can actually sit upright already by herself.
=)
But I really need to sleep cos I'm waking up super early for work tomorrow.
Good night!
Shall blog again soon-ish.

I THINK THIS IS SO TOTALLY TRUE!!!
=)
THOUGHT I'D SHARE.
What changes when you have a baby? A better question may be: What doesn't change? Here, writer and mom Rebecca Woolf lists her most notable post-baby observations. Then scroll down to read our favorite comments from readers about how their babies changed their lives.
1. You finally stop to smell the roses, because your baby is in your arms.
2. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid. [See a reader's perspective in #22, below.]
3. The sacrifices you thought you made to have a child no longer seem like sacrifices.
4. You respect your body ... finally.
5. You respect your parents and love them in a new way.
6. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.
7. You believe once again in the things you believed in as a child.
8. You lose touch with the people in your life whom you should have banished years ago.
9. Your heart breaks much more easily.
10. You think of someone else 234,836,178,976 times a day.
11. Every day is a surprise.
12. Bodily functions are no longer repulsive. In fact, they please you. (Hooray for poop!)
13. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.
14. You become a morning person.
15. Your love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.
And from our readers...

[Many readers begged to differ, saying things like, " I disagree with number 12. My dogs are my additional children," "Nothing about previous babies, whether two- or four-legged, changes when a new miracle comes along," "My dog will never be 'just a dog," and "This is sad to me. My dog is still my baby too."]

20. You just plain love life more - everything comes together and becomes better because of one tiny person and your love for them. — Anon.
21. You finally find out the real reason you have those breasts. — Anon.
22. In response to #2 [above], I'd say that where you were once afraid, you're now fearless. I was always very timid and shy and let myself get walked all over … but now where my kid's concerned, I'll speak my mind and really connect with my inner "b"! — gummismom

Sera placed her bears side by side on her pillow and said, "bearbear, sleep!"
then she proceeded to kiss her bears and said "goo-nite!"
then she took her blanket and covered them saying "cold cold, cold cold."

Angelica's First Mango Juice.
10.11.2010
Mangoes are yums!
=)
I remember when I was pregnant with Sera, I always had all sorts of cravings.
And mangoes was one of them.
My in-laws were very nice, and always bought them for me every week to satisfy my cravings.
=)
Somehow when you are pregnant and have cravings, and when you finally get to eat what you crave...
The feeling of satisfaction is almost perfection.
=)
Anyway, side tracking...............

As usual, I sieved it first.
And got rid of all the pulp.

Left with pure mango juice.
" Daddy, what are you feeding me this time?"

" Please daddy, can I have some more?"

" Give me more!!!!"*pulls daddy's fingers and eyes the spoon*

*slurp slurp slurp*
Don't underestimate this little girl.
She may be little...
But her appetite is sure big!!

Today was a relatively CRAPPY day at work.
Problems after problems.
And I over time for like an hour and a half?
Best thing is that we don't get extra cash or pay back per hour for working overtime.
Thank goodness I have so many colleagues who sayang me and helped me finished up my work.
If not I need to OT even longer..
Sometimes working can make me so stressed up, my milk can be barely pumped out, my head hurts so badly and I want to vomit blood.
The reality of life.

ANGELICA'S
FIFTH MONTH PROGRESS
- Drinks about 4oz of Enfalac formula.
- Currently weighing at 7.8kg.
- Still partially breast-fed.
- To date has tried grapes, pear, orange, mango juice scrapped and sieved.
(And she absolutely loves them! =D)
- Hands will automatically try to hold her milk bottle when being fed.
- Knows how to put her pacifier into her mouth.
(Well techinically, she puts just about everything into her mouth.)
- Somestimes puts her lips together and go "PUUUUUU" letting her salive fly everywhere.
- Her head and back is very steady now.
- Able to pull herself forward when she is lying down while I hold her hands.
- Makes alot of noise as if she's babbling to us.
- Fluffy is her middle name. =P

Tutu mouth.

Today hubby, the kids and I went down to Vivo for lunch first, before heading down to SGH for Angelica's appointment.
She was due for her immunization jabs.
I didn't bring my camera, so bear with my phone pictures.
=)

Had lunch at Carl's Junior.
"Hmmm.. I know what to do with this straw!"
*pokes pokes*Attempts to poke her own straw into my cup,
so that she can drink also.

Angelica!

Sera obviously enjoying her fries.

This girl, trying to suck her toes.
So while hubby was taking care of Angel,
I took Sera out for a walk.

Aiya, how I wished I brought my camera.

Her signature smile.
=)
After that we went to walk around for a little while.
Went to Canon and went to check out the powershot series recommended by some friends.
And of cos, the difference between a powershot and a DSLR.
And I am so in love with DSLR cameras now.
No wonder people are willing to pay alot to invest in DSLRs, cos they take really awesome pictures!!!

Hubby and I really like this model.
=)
But for now, I shall stick to my rubber band tied camera.
(Sera broke my camera some time ago. And something is loose. So at the moment I'm using a rubber band to hold my camera together. Pathetic. I know.)
Please donate generously to the Serene Camera Charity Fund.
All proceeds will go to a new DSLR.
Thank you!
HAHAHA!=D
After that we went down to SGH for Angel's checkup.
The moment we stepped into the room and Sera saw the PD, she went like,
"NONONONONO!!!"And when the PD went near her she screamed
"NONONONONO!!" again.
I think Sera remembers the PD cos we brought her there last month cos she was sick and this was the same PD that saw her.

Prof Yeo and Angel.
Angelica is currently weighing at
7.8kg.Like
WOW!!Heavy girl.

Sera sitting at the corner of the consultation room.
Entertaining herself.

Attempting to "cut" the "cake"
Angelica had an oral and 2 jabs today.
Poor baby.
Was so upset after having medicine stuffed down her throat and a jab each on both thighs.

My heart pain okay!

Still can bleed some more.
(Look like heart shape hor?)
My favorite loots for today.

My stuffs from M.A.C.

New mineral blusher in Dainty.
I never used this kind of colour before.
It's kinda orangey-pink.
Usually I stick to light pink.
But I was told by the person that this colour actually suits my fair skin.
Thought I would give it a try.
It's also shimmery, unlike the previous one that I am still using.

The current one that ,I'm using.
I think blusher is very important for the overall make-up.
Because it perks up the face
And I always have people asking me if my my face is naturally pink-ish or is it the blusher that I use.
=)
I recommend M.A.C cos it stays on the whole day even after a long day at work.
The new mineralised blusher is abit too dark for me.
But I love the shimmer effect!
So I guess I'll have to use a tissue to wipe off the excess after I'm done.
Overall not too bad.
I LOVE! =D
