GOOD FRIDAY
It was a long weekend for me!
We must not forget that it was also the day that Jesus was crucified on the cross to die for us sinners.
John 3:16So that very morning we rushed down to church for service at 10am.
Then went down for lunch at Tung Lok Vivo with the whole family + my mom!

After that hubby drove mom home and we headed down to Ikea at Tampines.
Wanted to get stuffs,
but ended up getting other stuffs instead.

It was really crowded also.
So very turn off.
This little chair for kids was selling at $39.
And there's a matching big chair for papa bear too!
So tempted to get it.
But we have no place to put.
Real cute seeing both father & daughter sitting in it side by side.
LOL!Wanted to get those colorful little storage boxes and was told by their staff that it's at the kids section at level 2.
Hubby insisted on going back to get it for me.
And told me to wait for him.
(We were already nearing the cashier at that time at level 1.)
So the girls and I waited for him, and I put them on the sofa to sit and play abit.
So there was this food cover that someone tossed aside on the sofa.
And guess what Angel did??
HAHAHA!Hilarious!
I swear I didn't make her do it.
It was really random.
She just took the cover and put it on her head like a hat!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!Darn cute.
Cheeky little one!
Lol!
And Sera as usual,
has to have everything that her sister has.
And since there is only one.
FIGHT!
LOL!
I think she looks really cute.

EASTER SUNDAY
Woke up early for church service.
Easter Sunday means that Jesus has risen from the dead on the third day of crucifixion.
And we must be thankful for he died on the cross to save us all.
=)
It was also a very important day for my girls.
Because hubby and I decided to get them baptised.
We had to go for class before that also okay!
Angel got to go first!
Very happy.
Cos she was very well behaved!
Okay, I admit.
I cheated.
I bribed Angel with her favorite biscuits that was why she was so well behaved.
It kept her hands and mouth busy to do anything else.
HAHA!

Sera's turn was next.
Can't see her face,
cos apparently she was too short.
Having their milk after the baptism.
My girls are finally baptised!
=)
And I hope that they will grow up to walk in the faith of the Lord.
And that God will grant me the strength, wisdom and patience to teach them so.

Went for a simple lunch before heading home for a dinner affair with the whole Tang family.
I love family gatherings!

Pretty much wraps up the weekend!

It has been awhile since I last update my blog.
And it has been exactly a month since hubby's birthday.
Thought I better update before I forget!
And while my girls are still sleeping and I don't have to fight for the laptop with hubby as he is at work and as mine has since died on me.

Took leave on that special day to spend the day with hubby,
while mil kindly agreed to look after the kids.
=)
I told him the night before that I had no plans for him as I wanted to go shopping instead.
And I could tell he was utterly disappointed with me.
But I was planning a surprise trip and dinner for him!
MUAHAHAHA!!!Bluffed him in the morning that I wanted to go Vivo to shop at F21 and bank in money to OCBC.
On the way, I bluffed him again I wanted to go Sentosa and go to the beach.
(He hates going to the beach cos he is very scared of heat.)
Guess where we were headed to?
Resorts World Sentosa!
He kept guessing and asking me if we were going to Universal Studios.
And his guess was right.
Such a spoiler...............

Thank goodness we didn't bring the girls cos the loud noises might scare them.
There was a little girl who was there,
and half way she was crying and wailing like mad cos of the loud noises.

Hubby was super excited to see him.

After that it started raining heavily.
So we decided to head back to the burger joint for some comfort food and shelter.
I have no idea why hubby asked me to take photos of the vintage cars for him.
*shrugs*Oh wells....
Decided to get ponchos as it was still drizzling.
Two dollars for one.

Went for the kiddy roller coaster ride,
to prep myself for the big one.

Went for the Shrek 4D show which was in the castle itself.
IT WAS AWESOME!!!My favorite part of the entire USS.

Went for the highly recommended,
Mummy roller coaster ride.
During the ride I was screaming like one kuku.
But hubby's face was expressionless.
WTH!~After the ride he tells me,
"No kick. I've sat on better ones before."

Which is true....
Cos he sat on the rides at Australia Gold Coast.
Tsk.
After the ride, we went to see the pictures that was randomly took during the ride without our notice.
I burst out laughing.
Cos in the picture, my eyes were squeezed tight while I was clinging on to hubby and my mouth was open in a big O.
LOL!!!
The big scary roller coaster which just opened.
They have 2 rides.
The
red one and the
blue one.The
red one is the less scary one.
The
blue one is the more scary one.
It also turns 360 degrees at one point during the ride.
I am not afraid to say I'm really a chicken.
I have height issues....
EVERYONE HAS ISSUES OKAY!Even when I go down the escalator at Taka from the highest floor,
I get faint, I start palpating and I break into cold sweat.
Can you imagine how I felt when I was queuing for the
red ride that we went first??
Again during the 90 secs on the
red ride,I was screaming like a kuku and my eyes were closed 95% of the time.
After that my leg became wobbly.
Hubby had to persuade me very long to sit on the
blue one with him.
Birthday boy.
GIVE CHANCE!
After being belted in, it started raining
HEAVILY.Like seriously lah.....
How any worse can this be.
And whoosh we went.
90 secs of the ride, and I was drenched head to toe.
I refused to sit on it again when hubby asked and asked and asked.
The rain was pretty much a mood spoiler also...

After that we headed to see another show.

On the way out,
wanted to take photo with the Kung fu panda - Po.
But the queue was very long and the person stopped us telling us to come back for the next round.

Went back to Candylicious to get some souvenirs.
They have to cutest little shopping carts!
After that we headed to Vivo to get new clothes as our clothes were very soaked.
WooHoo!~Awesome excuse to go shopping.
HAHA!After that hubby kept asking where were going for dinner.
And again, I bluffed him that we were going to Macdonalds.
As he followed me to Harbourfront Tower, questioning me again and again.
He finally asked me if we were taking the cable car to Mount Faber for dinner.
Really spoiler man he....

Honestly,
the food was only so-so.
But. The ambiance was nice cos it's an outdoor concept.
Other then that,
I don't think I will go to Sapphire again.
Plus I got bitten by mosquitoes.
Maybe to the other restaurants surrounding Sapphire.
Like Black Opal, Empress Jade, Emerald Lodge or Moonstone.
Indoor ones?
Returned very shagged from the day's excitement.
And my last present to him.
A very happy dude.

And his happiness makes up mine.
=)
