ANGELICA'S

EIGHTH MONTH PROGRESS

Still drinks about 4oz of Enfalac formula.
On a cereal, fruits, biscuits, fish porridge with veggies diet!
Able to sit up by herself and flip around like a pro.
Does the "worm wriggle" cos she can't crawl yet.
Says "Da da" "Mum mum" "Nan nan"
Put her own pacifier in her mouth everytime she sees it.
Gets angry when we don't feed her fast enough.
Still hates her tummy time.
Doesn't like to be left alone.
Rubs her eyes when she is tired.
Able to stand when she holds on to something.
Very sticky to her mummy!

SERAPHINA TURNS
TWO TODAY!!

I have loads of photos!

But will only blog them in a nutshell.

Took leave on her special day.

Hubby & I decided to bring Sera out.

And boy, was she soooo happy!

Check out her sexy back, yo!

FIRST STOP.

Takashimaya with mil.

Had 'birthday' lunch at Sushi Tei.

Birthday "noodles"

Then mil bought her a mini cake to preempt her for her actual birthday cake.

Had a good laugh watching Sera blow her birthday candle everytime we lit it up.

"Lemme at it! Lemme at it!!!"

SECOND STOP.

After dropping mil off for her MJ session,

hubby drove down to the Singapore Science Centre.

Sisters.

The place was totally SWAMPED with little school kids.

Really no feel after that..

They look eerie here lor.

Hubby & I also went for the CSI Exhibit.

(Oh, and no photos allowed in there.)

Honestly, it was much of a disappointment.

After that. we went to IMM to do a little shopping.

As we had time before fetching mil.

By then Sera was already dead tired.

And slept in the car on the way there screaming for fries.

(Cos I promised her fries to lure her away...)

In my defense I REALLY did want to get them at Macs at Singapore Science Centre okay!

But the queue of little school kids at Macs were so looonggg...

No thanks, I'd rather not.

Wanted to get them from IMM but Sera was tired and cranky after a long day.

So she used FRIES as an excuse to throw her tantrums.

Her birthday, so give her chance.

Hah!

Returned home for dinner and for her cake cutting!

My little Sera will be turning TWO in 3 weeks time..

I admit, I have not had much time to think what to do to celebrate her birthday.

But the past few days, I've been on leave to stay at home to look after the kids..

(Sian, going back work tomorrow already..)

And I really don't know what to do.

Her birthday falls on a weekday.

And to celebrate would have to be a weekend before..

And it happens to be CNY week...

Zzzz...

Also don't feel like celebrating a big event,

maybe just family and a theme party...

Maybe not have a party, but bring her to some place special.

Or something...

Need.to.crack.my.head.anyone.with.any.ideas???

After that would be hubby's birthday.

Then Angel's FIRST.

Followed by my TWENTY-FIRST.

Time flies...

Shall settle CNY first.

Went to Nex yesterday and bought CNY clothes from Isetan with vouchers.

Only paid a total of 6 bucks and 70 cents.
=)

They're gonna wear that for the 2nd day of CNY.

And these for the First day.

Bought them online.

ANGELICA'S

SEVENTH MONTH PROGRESS

Still drinks about 4oz of Enfalac formula.
Weaned off breast feeding at about 6 and a half months.
To date has tried grapes, pear, orange, banana, mango, apple, papaya, watermelon juice.
To date has tasted bread, fish, tofu, yogurt, home-made soup, baby bites biscuits, boiled carrots and porridge and Nestle Cerelac brown rice.
(Very very VERY good eater.)
Able to hold her own baby bites biscuit and feed herself.
Says "Da da da da da" now.
Hates her tummy time, but is able to flip, but not very often.
Walks like a pro on the baby walker now.
Likes to look into the mirror and happily laughs and smile.
Able to pull herself up when she holds on to something.
Able to stand unsteadily by herself when she holds on to something.
Pinches.
Pacifier addict.
Holds on tightly to the sides of the bathtub, refusing to let go when we want to take her out of her bath.
Talkative.
Wants to eat when she sits at her baby chair with us at the dining table.
Is being put on the potty whenever we anticipate that she is going to poop.
My little sweet pea. =)

Well, I personally don't own a iPad.

When it first came out, I thought it was just a iTouch, only MAGNIFIED!x1931823190

Then my sil bought one and I thought it was, well, kinda cool.

So I went to Google the NEXT iPad 2 generation.

According to mis-asia.com, Apple will roll out a second-generation iPad next April, a year after the original's launch.

And stumbled across this site which I thought was humorously true.

CLICK HERE!!!and chuckle with me. =D

If Apple ever really comes out with all the functions it should have,

I will become like THIS, hunting down the iPad from dusk till dawn till I get my hands on it!

But in the mean time, I'll just wait for my iPhone 4.

Or the next iPhone 5 which will be predicted to come out in June this year.

Woo!~

Apple just keeps coming out with new technology which I just can't keep up.

Today is the last day of the Old Year.

And tomorrow will be the first day of the New Year.

Time really flies.

I remember welcoming this year with mixed feelings.

What 2010 was like for me:

Gave birth to my precious Angelica.
My little Seraphina turned ONE years old.
Transferred to a new depeartment & had new colleagues & awesome sisters.
FOUR month of maternity leave to enjoy with my 2 kids & bond with them.
Found new friends & forged close relationships making a difference in my life. =)

There you go.

Doesn't seem like much.

But these few things have been life changing for me.

2010 has been a pretty good one for me this year.

As we count down to 2011, I hope 2011 will turn out even better.

Not only for me, but for everyone else too.

=)

CHRISTMAS 2010

Last year hubby & I made cupcakes to give away as presents.

So this year, I decided to give away cookies!

=)

It's not that I'm lazy to think what to buy.

Neither am I being stingy.

Just felt like doing something from my heart.

This is 爱心食物

So please appreciate the love and effort gone to making them.

Thank you.

Batter.

Initially wanted to make butter cookies to give away.

But changed my mind as mil said chocolate chip cookies are better.

Mil & I made the chocolate chip cookies together, as it was my first time.

She taught me how.

Relatively easy to make!!

Was very happy with the end result.

=)

We painstakingly shaped each drop of dough.

After that I proceeded to wrap
the rest of the presents to give away.

Mostly for little kids.
Shouldn't be encouraging them to be eating cookies.

CHRISTMAS EVE.
24.10.2010.

Christmas Eve was spent at home.

As Fil had his company party.

CHRISTMAS DAY
25.10.2010.

Woke up bright and early.

(Well, mainly cos the girls always wake up at about 7-8am)

It was also Angelica's FIRST CHRISTMAS.

And Seraphina's SECOND CHRISTMAS.

(Last Christmas my poor Sera was very very sick. So glad she was able to enjoy Christmas this year. =D)

Bathed the kids and prepared to head to church.

Dressed the kids up in beautiful white formal dresses.

(Making use of the chance to dress them up!)

Then decided to leave the kids in the care of my in-laws.

And let them take their afternoon nap.

Then hubby drove both of us down to Whampoa,

for Christmas "lunch" at my step-sis's place.

Returned home for dinner.

And it was time to unwrap presents!!!

SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so obvious Sera was so excited by her new kitchen set.

So I asked her if she was happy.

Sera looked at me and replied, "HAPPY!"

Their happiness is what makes up mine.

=)
