Firstly, I would like to wish ALL nurses,

A HAPPY NURSES' DAY!!

=D

I find this so funny!
And ironically, so true. =D

Stapled onto our Nurses' Day gifts from SGH.

My second Nurses' Day with SGH since I joined them!

=)

But I didn't get to spend it with them cos I'm on maternity leave now.

I only went to get my gifts from my work place,

after I brought Angelica for her 6th week checkup.

The gifts contained a hot water flask, cutletries & 2 cups.

Useful I must say.

Anyway,

today was also Alwyn's birthday!

=D

We went down to Jumbo Seafood Restaurant for dinner!

The one located at East Coast.

It was drizzling & the wind was like WOW & it almost blew the umbrella away.

(-_-")

The place was crowded to the max!

Top floor AND bottom floor.

There wasn't an empty table in sight.

Upstairs.

Downstairs.

Lucky mil was so smart to make a reservation upstairs,

so we can enjoy aircon & just in case if the rain were to beat down on us if we were to sit downstairs.

=)

The place was so squeezy though!

Cos the place probably wanted to put as many tables side by side to accommodate more people.

My poor hubby was also squeezed,

cos the guy sitting behind him was inconsiderately sitting so far out.

So our birthday boy acted ~~HERO~~ & asked the man sitting at the next table to move a little bit politely.

Thanks to him,

everybody sitting at the table were staring at us.

In the end, everybody at OUR table were staring at them.

Most of them had lightly colored dyed hair & were wearing sunglasses & definitely not locals.

Alywn's girlfriend went like,

"Dye their hair until like that! They think they what? Wondergirls ah?"

And some other comments I could not vividly remember was:

"Those girls over there are trying to act cute!"

"They are wearing sunglasses in a restaurant!?! Eat also need to look cool meh?"

Somebody (I cannot remember who) added in,

"Yeah lor! Some more at night, so lame."

"I want nobody, nobody BAK CHEW (but you)!"

(It's a phase from one of Wondergirls famous song, "Nobody nobody".)

(I also learnt in hokkien, that "bak chew" means eye. ROFL!)

I think most of the people at our table was busy suan-ing them.

And it was funny!!

Anyway,

our reservation was 7.30pm & most of the popular food was already finished.

So if you want to make a reservation as late as ours,

make sure you remember to order the food you want before hand

so that they can reserve for you.

If not, just book earlier.

=)

Chicken.

Fish.

Scallops with brocolli.

Drunken prawns.

Black pepper crab.

Chilli crab.

The food was nice!

But I couldn't exactly eat the prawns & crabs.

But I tried a little bit of the crabs.

My verdict?

Yums!!

=)

But I think mummy can cook better!

=P

She said she'll cook crab for me after 3 months is up to make me happy.

(I'm suppose to abstinent from food like mushrooms, crabs, prawns, cockles, etc for 3 months after my c-sect cos worried that it might cause the wound infection or itchy-ness. Sad hor? Only can watch people eat.)

I hold you to your promise!!

Okay, so anyway,

through dinner we were wondering how come people downstairs were busy waving, holding banners in korean words & take pictures of the people from the table besides us.

Then it dawn upon us that it was really the Wondergirls!

Apparently they are suppose to be in Singapore from the 1st-3rd August for Singfest also.

LMAO!!

And all the time, all the suan-ing, it was really them!

(Well, apparently nobody at our table are a fan of them therefore none of us could recognise them.)

3 tables full of them.

I suppose it's the crew & band, besides them, etc.

Happy birthday Alwyn!

You got to talk to one of the people from Wondergirls too!

(The man you so heroically tried to ask to move & whom you thought was a china man. LOL!)

Isn't this like your best birthday, ever??
