HA!I just logged into my long lost friendster a few days ago.
Was looking through my photo archives,
and suddenly I feel like I have grown up so much.
My third birthday.
Short hair in sec 3.
OMG!At least I look better then I was in sec 1.
In secondary 1,
I had long long hair.
(Not layered at all.)
I wore round round glasses & was quite chubby.
I was in my jeans & t-shirt only phase.
Sexy hor?
Then the hairstyle evolved to the "punk" look.
Wahaha!
Found my class photo.
Then I had permed hair at the end of sec 4.
Lazy to look for photos.
I think I look nice in curly hair!
Thinking of perming it again.
=D
Anyway,
In secondary school,
I took up
netball &
choir as a
CCA.But netball was very tedious,
all the running & jumping, I always went home with jelly legs.
HAHAHA!!So after awhile, I quit netball & my main
CCA was choir,
cos there was no running & all we did was sit in aircon room & sing!!!
I LOVE!!
=)
Singapore Youth Festival!
My choir won silver.
=)
We had our own choir performance,
selling our own tickets!
This photo was taken at the Esplanade.
The choir was performing for the
117th IOC session. IOC = International Olympic Committee. You can read more of it
here!I wikipedia-ed it.
=D
It was an international event!
The next day the choir was allowed to come to school late,
as the opening ceremony for the
IOC was held till past midnight
And the school recognized us for all the hard work we put in this performance.
=)
Appreciation night held at Marina Mandarin Hotel,
after the
117th IOC event.
I also remember performing at the National Stadium with other secondary schools as a combined schools choir.
I remember disliking to go for practices,
& my seniors had to always catch us after school, to force us to go.
LOL!!But looking back,
I am glad I had so much experience & somehow I miss singing & performing.
Especially in the Singapore Youth Festival, performing in the Esplanade for an international event & the National stadium.
=)
Memories.. they last a lifetime don't they?
