CHRISTMAS 2011
"I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone! The Savior - yes the Messiah, the Lord - has been born tonight in Bethlehem!"Luke 2:10-11We must not forget He is the reason for the season.
Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas this year.
=)
BEFORE Christmas - Angel fell sick with fever, runny nose & cough.
ON Christmas day - I caught the bug and fell ill.
AFTER Christmas - Sera fell sick too.
=(
Been pretty exhausted looking after the girls as well as myself.
Till today Sera is still feverish & Angel is still coughing.
Hopefully they get a whole lot better tomorrow as we would be out celebrating the New Year!
ANYWAY.Back to Christmas..
Wanted to take a nice photo and frame it to give my in laws as a present this year.

Photos were taken a week before Christmas.
However, it was tough taking pictures with 2 toddlers.
So very
NOT cooperative.

Angel.

Sera.
I quite like this picture.
(Printed this picture for myself to keep.)

Sera look very doll-like here!
But Angel has a very irritated expression.

Hugging each other.

Still at it...

Angel's
"sian" face.
LOL!!
Ended up using Honey Stars to bribe them..
DID.NOT.WORK.AT.ALL......!!!

Either they were busy eating..

Or Angel was busy feeding Sera..

Sera kept putting her arm around Angel and saying,
"Best friend!!"CUTE!
Angel:
"Seriously, what kind of face is that??"*points to her sister*
I really
REALLY like this picture!!
But Sera was standing too far.
=(

Ended up choosing this picture.
Not satisfied with the picture.
But good enough, I suppose.
Plus lighting was really good!

Spent the rest of the day,
wrapping presents.

Bought all these from Daiso!
Cheap and pretty!

Sera insisted on helping.
So she helped me to stick the bows & the cards.

Self folded little Christmas paper bags.
Spent the night of Christmas Eve wrapping the rest of the presents.
And sorting out Hershey Kisses.

Candy Cane.

Mint Truffle.
Very Christmas-y Hershey kisses.
I know!
=)

Also wrote hubby a Christmas Love Note.

Rolled them into 2 tiny scrolls.
Tied with red ribbons.

Individually cut out the pieces of paper
to place inside the box.
(Stupidly, I just found out Daiso also sells it.)
Placed the scrolls
AND his almost-extinct-so-very-hard-to-find present inside..

Finished it up with a giant gold bow.

Really like the box!
Also from Daiso.
(I LOVE DAISO!)Another part of Hubby's present was to surprise him & go watch
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - Ghost Protocol. On the 26th December 2011 at Plaza Singapura.
Just to two of us.
He is a
HUGE Mission Impossible fan and was dying to watch it.

But I stupidly used his Golden Village Popcorn Card for discount.
And it automatically sent a confirmation email to his account.
Luckily I went to his email to delete it.
BUT.I forgot the confirmation email will also be sent to his Blackberry.
He found out about it the moment I paid for the tickets online!
ARGHHH!!!~~~~~~~~*bangs head on the wall*Oh wells.............
Christmas day @ Church.
Did not really take much pictures at church,
as I was really feeling very exhausted and tired with a fever.
Angel kept waking up the night before and crying non stop.
In addition I was having a very bad headache.
Had Christmas lunch at
TUNG LOK - VIVO!!I LOVE!!!(Haven't been there to dine in a while!)
Sadly I didn't have much appetite.
Didn't really get to enjoy.
=(
Spent the Christmas afternoon sleeping in.
Woke up and felt
ALOT better!

After dinner,
we let the girls unwrap their Christmas presents.
The joy of watching them!!

Angel happily ripping off the wrappers.

Sera admiring her new Barbie ice-cream set.

Daddy helping..

Intense concentration!

Finally got her Barbie opened!

She really likes the Barbie doll.
Flashes colourful lights and has a catchy tune,
when you press the button.

Sera with her new school bag!

Of cos she loves it!
She chose it herself.
=)
"Thank you Yanwen yiyi!"
Angel trying on the Hello Kitty crown.

Little Santarina.

Playing with her Barbie cake set.

Sera going out to sell ice-cream.
LOL!
Unwrapping my own presents after.
=)
"As we struggle with shopping lists and invitations,
compounded by December's bad weather,
it is good to be reminded that there are people in our lives
who are worth this aggravation,
and people to whom we are worth the same."
-Donald E. Westlake
Thank you for all the gifts.
♥Christmas was simple this year.
But it was sure filled with plenty of love & joy & happiness with my loved ones.
This is what Christmas is suppose to be.
