Wanted to blog about my Zoo trip with the Quek family last Saturday.

But my card reader has a problem!!

=(

So till I have that fixed..

Shall blog about my facial at Adonis (click for link) done today!

(Since I promised a post this evening.)

The last time I had a facial was almost 4 years ago.

FOUR YEARS!!

Can you believe it???

Had it done at Haach (click for link) at M Hotel.

Clearly remembered that it was a wedding gift from my Aunt.

So I had it done a day before my wedding.

=)

Adonis at Nex.

Waiting for them to verify my voucher
while sipping tea.

Then they brought me here to sit,
while soaking my feet in nice smelling scented oils.

Then they brought me to one of their rooms,
and asked me to change to their gowns.

All changed and ready to go!
=)

The facial was an hour.

Firstly they used this machine that gives out cold steam to open up the pores.

Then they put creams and serums on my face.

HONESTLY, the extraction part was bearable.

(Probably cos I had done facial before so I knew what was coming.)

Then they masked my face.

Massaged my face and shoulders...

SO SHIOK!!!!

Before putting MORE creams and serums on it.

Had complimentary eyebrow shaping too!

And then before I knew it, it was finished.

=(

Sipping ginger tea after.

Haven't felt this relaxed in a long time.

Wish I could have facials and massage EVERY month!!!

And my face is sooooooooooooo smooth now!

Be back to blog about the Zoo when I have the card reader fixed okay!!

IKEA.
14.03.12

Seraphina & Chlovelle.

Met Yanwen & Velle at Ikea during Sera's school term break.

Which was like 2 weeks ago...

And yet I'm blogging this only now.

Heh!

they are both coincidentally wearing almost identical shoes. ;)

FOR FUTURE HOME REFERENCE:

Really like the idea of a glass dining table!

Chio, but stains & fingerprints very visible.

Double-decker bed for the girls next time?

This double-deck bed is really awesome!

WHY?

Might consider for our future house as well.
=)

So after a long walk,

we bought hot dogs and chicken wings home!

(Which I super LOVE from Ikea!)

And bought an ice cream treat for the girls.

=)

My Sera eats ice-cream very clean one hor!

That's cos I helped her eat most of it.
=P

Although it was a short outing,

Sera & I had fun!

Angelica @ 4 months & 1 day.

I know this photo was a random one.

After all, Angel is already 21 months old now.

BUT I REALLY MISS HER BABY FATS!!!

How I would love to squeeze and bite those chubby cheeks again!

And look at that double chin!!!

=)

My baby has really grown up so fast...

ANYWAY.

The purpose of this post is just to record down the journey of weaning Angel off her pacifier.

=)

DAY 1.
[16.03.12]

Hubby decided it was time to wean Angel off her pacifier.

Tossed and turned.

Screamed and wailed.

Cried and whined.

ALMOST THE ENTIRE NIGHT!

*sighs*

(As anticipated anyway..)

DAY 2.

I googled about weaning off pacifiers.

And one article said about cutting off the teat of the pacifier.

Told hubby about it.

So hubby took Angel's old pacifier and cut the teat infront of her.

And Angel was watching it being cut with a wide-eyed-what-the-heck-are-you-doing expression.

Then we passed the cut up pacifier to her and she looked at it in bewilderment.

Before (very surprisingly) throwing it to me.

Then I gave it back to her and asked her to throw it in the dustbin.

AND SHE REALLY DID!

Without hesitation!

But in the end she still cried for it at night.
ZZZZZzzzz...

DAY 3, 4 & 5.

Same as days 1 & 2.

So very sleep deprived!

(Zombie mode the entire days.)

But much improvement, as she only cried once or twice instead of every so often.

DAY 6.
[21.03.11]

She finally fell asleep at night and didn't wake up once to ask for it.

And have not asked for it since then.

=)

One note of advise if you're planning to wean your child off pacifiers:

PATIENCE AND PERSERVERANCE!

FIRST FAMILY MOVIE!
10.03.12

It was the first day of Sera's school holidays!

Hubby brought the girls and I for our first movie..

As a FAMILY! ♥

The Lorax!

Very awesome show!
If you have not watched, you should! =)

Hubby booked the tickets online the night before.

And drove us down to Vivo City's Golden Village the next day!

Managed to reached there in ample time!

Cos we dropped bil off first,

before heading down to Vivo.

WHEW!~

Waiting for daddy to collect the tickets.

After collecting the tickets,

hubby bought popcorn.

And an extra bucket specially for the girls to share!

before the show even started!

*munch munch*

Hubby booked 3 seats.

Our left and right was a huge space because it's for handicap to park their wheelchairs.

Spacious much!

And was very surprised that the cinema was quite empty.

I LIKE!!

To my surprise,

the girls were pretty much well behaved during the show!

Busy eating popcorn and very mesmerized by the show on the big screen.

=)

So after the show,

we headed down to Toys R Us as they were having sale!

Bought a new Esprit umbrella stroller.
It was on offer at $139!

LOVE IT! ♥

Been wanting to get a umbrella stroller for awhile already.

Small, compact and light weight!

Also got these at Toys R Us.
Buy 2 get 1 free!

After that we shopped around,

before heading to Carls Jr for snack!

Angel fast sleep in the new stroller!

Sera loves her fries.

Look like force fed likedat.
LOL!

But actually not.
=)

Had a wonderful day!

I can't wait for more movie outings!

ANGEL'S FIRST SWIM.
[04.03.12]

Went to Tanah Merah Country Club.

The swimming pool was under renovation, thus we didn't bring the girls swimming for quite awhile.

Finally the renovations was done.

And we all decided to go swimming together, as a family!

=)

All of us squeezed in a car,
on our way there.

Arrived at about 5pm.

Got the girls changed into their swimsuits.

So cute in identical swimsuits!!
=)

Love their newly renovated changing room!

Clean and neat and fully air conditioned!

Bathrooms are separated by the glass door in the middle.

And you can sit and powder yourself at the mirror or blow your hair dry (fully provided) at the right side!

(Yes, it's the same float since Sera's first swim.)

After awhile, we decided to migrate from the baby pool to the kiddy pool.

(Which was actually separated by a parapet wall.)

The baby pool isn't deep.

Water level was slightly below Angel's waist.

SO....

We finally decided to swap floats.

Sera to take the whale float & Angel the arm floats.

Still a little terrified...
But we finally managed to persuade her into the kiddy pool.

YAY!

Angel was very much happy
with the float switch too!

We were all debating to go or not to go down the slide.

Decided NOT TO.

Because we were afraid our asses might get stuck half way,
as the slide was meant for kids. LOL!

As Tanah Merah Country Club is near Changi,

we would very often see the planes flying over head.

And the girls would get all excited and point at them!!

=)

teaching her to do the breast stroke.

So after that,

we decided to let Angel float by herself without us supporting her.

"Hey! Where did everybody go??"

After that, we headed back to the baby pool.

Just to lounge and play for awhile before hitting the showers.

The club actually renovated the children's shower room as well!

And they added a small little kids gym beside the cafe near the pool.

I LIKE!!!

Heading to Garden View Restaurant.

(Which was just a level above the pool.)

It was hubby's birthday in 5 days time.

So had a nice dinner there to celebrate his birthday.

Been to the restaurant many times already.

But I still absolutely LOVE the food there!
